Essentially, stronger and bigger versions of current mobs which appear randomly in the clockworks.
Should drop loot according to their difficulty (think red Lichen colony).
Could possibly afflict 2 types of status ailments, instead of just 1.
They should be difficult but optional.

Danger rooms just have lots
Danger rooms just have lots of standard monsters. The OP is talking about a Mini Boss (Something like a giant Scuttlebot named Wiggles that shoots laser beams that cause fire) which would spawn randomly, but provide rewards for killing them.
I like this idea.

i love challenges so i would like to see some more mini bosses besides those giant jellys and stuff haha.
How is this different from a Danger Room? The final waves almost always have at least one of the more intimidating foes.
