Okay guys. I know we all hate delayed "gratification" but i don't want to be that guy who sales everything and comes back to start all over. So i plan to take a 4-6 month break. If i still feel the same way at that time, i am giving stuff away for free/or unbind.

Yes, OOO delayed far too long. But the fact is that by the time they'd assessed the situation, it was too late to rollback without pissing off a whole lot of ordinary players. You see this as them not caring; I see this as them making a bad call early and then having to pick the lesser of two evils.

I read and appreciated your post on the general forum, and the more I think about it the more I agree with the general sentiment, from the PoV of long-time merchants. But how about your average Joe SKer who suddenly finds their day's worth of playing achievements (cr from runs, Krogmos earned, etc.) gone? In general, this is a game of progress--everyone gets better off every day (if all they do is play the game). That's what matters to most, not whether some rich players got suddenly fabulously richer. That stuff is irrelevant to most players.

So I urge you to at least consider an alternative view: It isn't that OOO doesn't care how you feel. It's that they care about the feelings of the thousands of players who just want to make some cr from JK/Vana, buy some CE, and craft up their stuff. People who would never dream of making millions, and who would rather keep their day's takings of 20kcr or whatever than give that up in order to remove the millions a few others made.

[Edit: Wanted to clarify that I'm not posting this to try to "win" an argument, but rather to try to convince you that it's not so bad that you ought to quit! Please stay.]

The divine mohawk, CTR VH cutter, VH Ctr Nitronome, CTR VH Dark Briar Barrage, and those prismatic valk wings are all cool items, I'd like to have them if at all possible. :o
I hope that you come to a reasonable solution, though. A quitting sale could atleast benefit you in the form of CE that could go towards steam games. :D

If anything, I'd love the CTR VH nitro and DBB to use for striker-bombing well. :)

Well, since Reqy's claimed the CTR VH Static Capacitor and as I was interested in buying that off of you I'll take the CTR VH Voltaic Tempest. Might as well throw on CTR VH Ash of Agni, and CTR VH Dark Briar Barrage, as I'm lacking bombs in my arsenal, Volcanic Dragon Wings because I need more for costumes, the triple max Barbarous Thorn Shield because I'm too lazy to roll on any shield, not really worth it if you can dodge imo, and lastly a prismatic Party Hat because who doesn't love parties? hrmm, hrmm? no one?

Good luck on your decision, hopefully you'll have a clearer head after some time away.

Never really got to talk to you Rommil, but you were always a good presence to have around the guild. Sad to see you and Pawn already left, you guys could have always been on the guild roster as honorary members. ;_;

As someone who has been fixated on never again buying UV'd gear (only bought CTR Med stuff twice before), I'd so love to have that CTR VH+ ASI Med Voltedge/SS. But nvm, I will stick to my ways and leave it to my luck as I keep crafting; but still sooo tempted by the BTS >:c Thanks to being F2P, I'd consider myself extremely lucky if I ever ended up with one max UV on anything. But that BTS....I'd stroke it all day and polish it everday till the end of time. :3 If I'd want anything from here, the BTS would probably be it, with the Voltedge coming in a distant second and the similar SS lastly.

And by principle I stick to 0 accessories/costumes as well, since I will never be rich enough to create perfectly well matched costumes the way I'd want, so nothing from there too. I'll just have fun on spiralspy, lol.

But really you could sell your stuff for CE, and move on to other games; as such you wouldn't suffer a loss of your investment in SK. And wishing you all the best for the future as well ^^; I'm sure you and Pawn will make uber successful merchs whichever game you guys choose or in RL as well.

i don't know what the future holds. and i don't mean to string any of you along with this "in 4-6 months" nonesnese. But i also don't want to be the next guy to quit and come back a few months later buying stuff back. So please bare with me through this difficult time.

I'll add pawn's items in the next couple days. First priority goes to my closest friends. Next, comes Unity members--i quit the guild but its still the best place ever. you should aspire to join. Next comes my second best friends with regards to those who have not. and lastly my good merchant friends. sorry guys, but you know how to beat the game, and get what you want anyways. Xair, Derpules, etc....you are more worthy than the rest.....but you guys will always get what you want.

I sincerely hope that after a long hiatus, both pawn and i will play again, despite those [insert worst name possible] OOO management. But if not, my collection is yours, free of charge (or for unbind if applicable).

For now, i sold Reqy the bomb of his dreams for the best friend discount--and i have that CE on an alt to give back to him if i DO QUIT. The prism mecha wings are norezilla if i quit. and Ewbte and Dancinjen each get whatever they want, be it an elite aura, or whatevs. Also, Heron has his first choice of any item on my list, first and foremost. Dirty Harry, if you still want to play pick a gun or gunner armor.

We gave kyrill a sunshine aura for free. Thank you for being such a solid friend. If i quit, Death-leech gets 3.5m of my 4.6m crowns. such a great dude. gave me the greatest compliment (via in game mail) of my entire life, for simply buying a toasty bomb bando he accidentally posted.

This whole thing is breaking our hearts.

After i posted this thread, i decided F it. To sell these items is support OOO they should all die with me. But since then, i realized this game died for me months ago. and you guys, friends, guildmates, and newbs alike is why i still log in every day. I love you all. especially my friends. While i hate to support OOO by giving out my items, i'll eat that bullet, for you, my friends.

anywho. i am rambling. in 6 months or so, if i still feel like this game has nothing for me, be ready for the greatest givaway ever. get ypur 4k ce ready.

and for my loved ones, you know who you are, just claim an item. when and if the time comes, its yours. The double max deadshot will go back to perronius, if i quit, so i guess thats off the board also.

p.s. only ask for something if you plan to equip. i expect you to equip and show me or i'll report you for scamming. if you want an exception, ask before hand. i'll make it for a select few. This includes you, Hollafamer, if i quit ask for what you want, merchant it as you like. Your initial quitting thread launched my F2P riches. <3 you.

Onto the big issue.

I hope everything goes well for you in these next few weeks, i know alot of what happened pissed alot of people off and made some happy because they basically got hundreds of dollars free, I know you dont remember me much from back when because of my long break, but i enjoyed some of the few runs that we ever did.

I think that the community is going to miss you more then OOO or anyone else could and to me thats just sad, because a game should care for those that play it and give everyone fair chance. Not just say "hey it was all spent on Punch anyway so were not going to do anything but fix the problem of how the guy got the money".

You know the fact that both you and pawn leaving im sure just jerks everyone in the wrong way. Im sure others have contemplated leaving but i dont think none are so serious and strong as you to are about what happened.

So to the fact that your leaving im hurt, but to the fact that OOO cant do anything but choose the evil of one side by letting what one character destroy the market for one day, and not fix it "properly", im hurt just as much.

So that why i wish you the best over these next few weeks, hopefully if your ever in haven i can try and talk and see how your doing. But then again im sure everyone will.

I'll admit that I really didn't know you that well (or at all, frankly). It's never nice to see a familiar face go.
I'm a moderate wealthy, mostly recipe merchant, so I make a fair amount meself, but not nearly enough afford these nice things. HoH hurt the business a bit, but it also gave us a new opportunity and the chance to make the best out of a new situation.
