Assessorie and Costume suggestion...

If ya don't know me, then hi, hello, how ya doing?

I played pretty regularly about a year ago... took time off to remodel a house and all the other things that make life what it is... then instead of coming back to Spiral... I played APB for a while.

Yeah, APB missions are as mind numbingly repetitive as grinding for hours on Spiral.... but that's not what I'm getting at... Their character modification element is actually... well... as a guy it's surprising that I liked designing clothes. (I know, lose one man-card....)

YET, I'm not suggesting anything as so grand for Spiral.... game has it's limits, so ya got to tone it down a bit.

Sooooo..... when I do come back I see more asinine assessorie promotions..... other than the flak jacket (which I do like.) it's just a different color scheme.

Why not just do what was done with the Harvest thing last year and make unlockable clothing and go a step further with color customizable costumes?

Then add a Noob affordable dye shop taking 5,000 CR per item to color..... extra for special effects.

Will you lose money? Not really, if you add a rotating daily mission that alternates in what kind of custom you can earn...it'll add more variation to the game....and an excuse to keep grinding and getting the elevator pass.

Just a suggestion, take it if you will.

Another thought....

While I'm thinking about it...

I've found that I really enjoy the Steampunk look...and it's not much of a step to go to seeing the Clockworks to think... Bowler Hat, Top Hat, Monocle glasses (Ultra Dapper with monocle combo), and brass goggles options are in order.

Furthermore... PIRATE and NINJA.....that is all that needs to be said.

If you really want to know...

They're all color-scheme (texture and material) changes because there are 3 artists hashing out promotions every other week.

If SEGA would spare them some more developers (Or whoever is holding them back), I'm certain they would go further. But they're stuck between Skylla and Charybdis right now; if they spend much more time modeling new outfits, people will rage at them for not coming out with something knew. If they re-hash old models, people at least feel there are new color schemes and costumes to work with - and get their fix for another ever-frequent promotion.

Now I've recently done a lot of 3-D modeling and animation, and I can tell you that in this situation, with 3 people, I would probably do the same; it takes so much longer to start raw than to simply slap on some new materials and textures.

That's my theory, anyway. Maybe it's not true, but I think it is.

Just 3? That's sad...

Three artists should be the perfect reason to just make a color editor available and let their talents be used on better projects.

After a while the promotions get old and the masses get tired of vice and bread... If they would allow guild masters to somehow make quests it would take some development pressure away, hopefully this will be adressed in the guild patch I keep hearing about.

Also I would like to say..... Current Steam promotion is nice because getting a bonus with a game makes me happy and also due to the Tricorne (aka "Pirate") hat.....although a eyepatch would look lovely with it.

And the Shogun Helmet... not ninja but Samurai is just as good.... especially to a Lone Wolf and Cub fan.
