hello my fellow knights

me and a friend wanted to buy the total war collection, we would split the special items form tf2 and SK. this may not be the perfect place to ask this, but then this does concern 3 different games franchises. anyway, here are a few questions of mine:
1 can i buy the bundle as a gift, give the games to my friend, but still split the tf2/sk items?
2 how will one receive the special items? through a mail in-game? or apear in your steam inventory?
3 can we split the games in the bundle? will we get a gift card for each individual game? or is it all one gift card?
4 are the accessories bound when accepted? or bound when equipped?

would appreciate the help ;)

Processing Thoughts of You Always

No idea about the TF2 items and game splitting, but I have seen the pirate hat and laurel up for trade in /2 and AH, so they at least will be able to be sent to another person when bought.

Sk stuff could come bound without solution. But pretty much everything in tf2 is tradeable with gift wraps.

Anyways, this is steam stuff. Contact them.

Also

you should just buy the games as they go on offer, if the items are what you really want.

If you buy the bundle, you'll

If you buy the bundle, you'll recieve *all* the games in one package. You can choose to keep or gift *all* of them. You can't keep two of them and gift the rest, for example.
The TF2/SK items will be awarded to whoever makes the purchase.
I'm not sure about the TF2 stuff, but the SK hats/acc come unbound via in-game mail, so it's possible for you to keep the ones you want and mail off the ones you choose to gift/sell.

(note: I've not bought it myself, so if someone has done so and begs to differ, feel free to do so, but this is how Steam promotions and game bundles generally do work, so I suspect it'll work the same as every other time~

I don't have too much

I don't have too much experience with TF2 promo items, but from what I understand, the Genuine-quality items that come with any given TF2 promo are non-tradeable at first, but become tradeable at a later date...it's basically to encourage people to buy the promo games themselves instead of derp-bombing the TF2 economy. So in other words, if you and your friend only want certain TF2 items, you'll be able to trade them at some point. The items themselves will show up in your backpack when you start the game once Valve sends them out; I bought Rome yesterday and got my hat this morning.
