It's quite simple. One person states an achievement, and the next person gives them a reward (awful or awesome).
Example-
Person 1: I defeated Seerus and the rest of the Crimson Order single-handedly.
Person 2: You're awarded Seerus's dead carcass.

You get sentenced to execution for accidentally killing Aureate's brother who you mistook for Aureate because you had no idea that Aureate was actually a girl and hence got arrested. However, you manage to succeed in an appeal on grounds of manslaughter rather than murder, which causes a public outcry because people think your actions were deliberate as you blew someone's face off. Your life goes down the drain afterwards as you are forced to subsist on a diet of crappy mushed peas and reformed chicken in jail, and then contract a rare form of scabies as a result of close contact with a horse. After that, all the other inmates laugh at you because they think you look silly, and then you are forcibly moved to a confinement cell to prevent the disease from ravaging the entire compound. Unfortunately it doesn't work and the disease worsens, causing you to begin to develop an unhealthy taste for brains. You manage to break out, infecting all the other prisoners in the process until someone whacks you with a crowbar. Ironically.
