This thread is not pointless, not a thread for cats or anything that will attract ladies. This is a thread that serves to help users that need help. Say that I need to ask a question. I would ask it right here and somebody would answer it.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

@Valentine-Vk: Basically it's a usable material by Engineers in TF2, I seem to remember. The only reason it crops up in SK is because of the Steam Trade function. I believe that it can fetch a quite reasonable price in CE, if you find the right buyer for it.

@Benightz: ...are you trying to imply something about my gender? ¬.¬

I see a problem with this thread.

Somebody only needs to ask a question non-SK related, eg. 'Why are teenage boys so perverted?', to have you in a mess. I'd recommend clarifying the OP to allow for this.

Actual answer, just 'cause:

@Valentine-VK: Refined Metal is a TF2 crafting material, used to create new weapons, along with class/slot tokens. There are two main ways to craft in TF2, as you may/may not know:
1. Tokens and Metal: 1x each token, some metal, gives 1x random weapon according to token restrictions. This is kinda like Punch-rolling; you don't know exactly what you'll get.
2. Recipe: Take some specific items and craft together, eg. FaN and BONK! (I think?), to give another fixed weapon, in this case the Soda Popper.
Note that not all weapons have a 'recipe', eg. The Dead Ringer, so, for some items, they HAVE to be done via the first way.

Refined Metal is worth a LOT of CE, because it is the most valuable asset in making stuff that exists, and is also used as a kinda currency, since TF2 has no currency other than weapons. For example: A good weapon traded for a worse weapon plus some refined metal, or just refined metal.
