1) mecha knights are worthless, like my palestinian alarm clock (no racism or offense - really - just fun). their hits are drops in the sea: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCVZhA_Nxj0 after recording this vid, that zombie needed more than two damage-max swings to die. mechas should be adapted according to the tier they're invoked in, because at the moment they just represent a chance to get shocked.

2) why don't you extend spectator mode to PvE runs? The leader could decide to open the run for spectators or not.

3) if somebody signs up for lockdown then spectates a match, it looses the pvp subscriptions. why?

The kits are not supposed to be a replacement for another person in your party. That would be combat pets. What we have now are more useful as distractions but can still fight.

Be in the party. Follow people around without derping around blindly. Carry vials for team members and play support.

That's a very very cool

That's a very very cool point! Thank you.

But their attacks deal really a few damage. I guess than a fire vial or a stun vial could gain time/damage more. So even if the point is very good, I still think those attacks are weak. In a 4 party people or just in crowded places they don't distract enemies for more than a few instants.

Then the issue is their resistance, not their damage.

Yeah. Maybe same damage but

Yeah. Maybe same damage but more resistance could be a good solution to the distraction point.

Mechas would be cannon fodder, if enemies had a limited amount of ammo. (still good for distractions though)

I once used a Mecha at the beginning of a Vanaduke battle, he kept the slags away and raged on Vana for a bit. Unfortunately, he died in the second phase, but still managed to survive the first...

I had an idea of Ghost Spectating, where you would be essentially a non-solid, invincible, cloaked recon that can move at normal speeds. You would be able to see a transparent versions of the other spectators as if they were recons on your team. This doesn't have be so, but you could also attack, but they would only be visible by spectators and will affect no one, or the environment. Also, you can pass through all things like blocks or gates.

This spectator mode would be available in PvP and PvE

Imo a PvE spectator should be

Imo a PvE spectator should be attached to the same visual of the followed player instead. Otherwise players could communicate and use the help of a "driver" knight who inspects the environment in advance.
I would suggest just to extend the same spectate mode from PvP to PvE.

I dont think maps are so complex to worry about spectators 'guiding' the party. Besides most monster dont spawn until players get close.

Maps with multiple paths always have treasue boxes and minerals. A spectator may save some time by telling wich way to go first, but you'll probably end up exploring it all anyways.

But it's always a thing that

But it's always a thing that goes beyond the allowed visual. Honestly, I'd prefer to keep the current situation, but well...

mecha knights suck

seeing that mecha video reminded me of something not long ago. it was when missions came out and all of us t3 had to grind t1 missions. i soloed and i encountered a cornered t1 healing butterfly. i let my mecha knight loose and sat down. took minutes for it to destroy a t1 silkwing :_ the thing wasnt even fighting back. MINUTES! not seconds or a while, it was MINUTES. yeesh. anyway....
