TLDR: I made a Fanfic chara and I'd like some ideas/feedback for him

It's been like a long while times 10 to the 23rd since I've dabbled into Spiral Spy, and after looking through and analyzing other peoples' work I thought I'd get serious with it (and not the Garry's Mod serious where I break physics more than half the time and get screwed over for it XD). After clicking and learning enough random buttons I came up with this guy:

I always like to make Fanfic background stories for my work so I started brainstorming ideas for this mecha model character. Everything seems to be fitting into the puzzle piece quite nicely. The only problem here is.......I CAN'T THINK UP OF A NAME FOR THIS GUY =/

So this is where I turn to you guys; any suggestions for cool-sounding unorthodox-mecha-hybrid names, story backgrounds, or other feedback I'll gladly appreciate. I'll probably update this thread more as I get more input in.

Okay. I've just got to say that since the origin of knight seems to swing from bio-mechanical to completely robotic or organic with armour on top, I'd say that the backstory is going to vary like all hell depending on your interpretation of what Knights are. Is that just armour? Or is that jetpack integrated with him/her? That all depends on you.

However, the one thing that you can absolutely say for certain is that stuff is not standard equipment. Definitely looks like a custom job, although it's legality and how it was made - or perhaps "acquired" - is, once again, up to you.

As for the name. If he's truly a mecha-... thingy, then he should have name befitting a mecha-thingy i.e. an alphanumeric code which resolves into a name e.g. J-011-Y turns into Jolly, G-005-3 turns into goose, and, well you get the idea. Either make a name and try to turn it into a alphanumeric code, or just make up some number and letters which describe what make he is, and then try to turn that into a name.

A wild ideas appeared!

Since I was thinking on the high-end of the SK technological spectrum the initial idea for it was for him to be a cyborg where all his remaining and damaged body parts were preserved in a newly engineered experimental mechanized suit. The theory being that the Spiral Order is attempting to dominate the field of combat using new and effective methods. Alphanumeric nomenclature does sound like a good idea but I still need a name to make it from. I'm currently working on creating an official bio for what the big picture is all about for him, in the meantime: I haeves new stuff!

I've created a trademark weapon for him called the Atomizer Omega"

The Spiral Order's latest and most premiere prototype heavy weapon, the customized Omega-pattern Energy Rifle is a heavily upgraded version of the conventional pulsar and catalyzer. It is powered by six battery cells containing energy extracted from the clockworks core itself which is mostly why it is still in the experimental stages of testing. The cell chamber opens to provide a vent to prevent overheating. Regardless he is still able wield it with ease firing out intense focused beams of energy that is capable of assimilating matter on a sub-atomic level. Excellent for penetrating bigger targets and lines of smaller ones.

Good try though

I actually haven't making much but I've finally came up with things, e.g. the bio!:

Best described as a run-of-the-mill soldier back in the day, he would always be struggling to keep up on the battlefield. He would be the last to get to anything: rally points, strategic objectives, yielding merit and prestige for feats he could only half do, the list goes on. One thing existed in his favor however; ever since he was on the Skylark, he was really immersed into aerodynamics and flight. Although considered too young to be a pilot, he knew how to pull off flight paths both easy and near impossible. But nowadays they're grounded most of the time so what use is flight knowledge if they couldn't even fly? That's where family comes in, his father was part of the research team under Lieutenant Vaelyn. The Knights of the Spiral Order continue to make great strides in the clockworks taking and utilizing many enemy resources and facilities taken by their skirmishes that will hopefully aid them to the unlocking of the planet's core in which they have already started harnessing energy from. Utilizing these resources he formulated designs and materials for a brand-spanking new armor that was supposedly enable the user to further delve towards the core thanks to its mechanized augmentations, enhancements, and most importantly its ability to fly using propulsion engines based off of the Skylark itself. But with all theories it does have its drawbacks: The compatibility between Knight and machine was very low mostly due to neural issues with the brain, and many were not used to flying anymore.

In an ironic twist of fate, our average knight was left for dead by being stuck last in a gremlin-infested area designated for detonation by bombers regardless of who was left in the area. Barely making out with practically half of him still in tact, Recon Rangers came in to scour the aftermath and recovered him. Ended up in one of the gremlin stasis tanks salvaged from an earlier recon mission where further analysis shows that the shock from the blast made his neural patterns alter completely making them perfectly compatible with the suit his father devised. Donning the suit onto him and installing the essential programs on it, a single test flight was performed to prove this claim. Although disabled and distraught from the preceding events, he was able to fly and maneuver exceptionally. From that point on he was re-assigned to a special unit featuring the first flight-based Knight of the Spiral Order.

Yeah it's...pretty technical; this point I didn't really invest much into actual character and personality development, but this is just to sort the mechanics of his bio out. What do you guys think?
