Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. But you're asking about Tier 2, whereas 4-star and 5-star items are regarded as Tier-3. Consider playing in Tier 3, and in particular FSC, to heat them more quickly.
I guess good 'ol clockwork arenas are a funnier option rather than bosses. But we dont have such easy acces to them.
Depends on your patience and luck.
RJP
-No puzzles
-No Heart boxes
-More monsters
-Jellies
-Shadow damage absolutely owns em. Silkwings will be a problem with shadow damage.
-Token rewards suck until you upgrade them, except sealed is good in T2 LD. Hard to trade as they are bound and 3*
-No element except lumbers stun.
-Boss has more heat and cr from killed jellies.
-Boss heals and possibly can be annoying without proper gear.
-Has more monsters than IMF
IMF
-Puzzles, but they can be mastered after about a few rounds of it.
-Mechas, Quicksilvers
-Heart boxes
-Actually has more Treasure boxes on average unless your random box appearance is terrible.
-Possible Lag and FPS drops
-Elemental owns, but Gremlins.
-Good token reward, Pulsar is all you mainly want, Pulsar is easily unbound and sold easier.
-Shock.
-Boss has less crowns and heat.
-Boss can delay and delay and Scuttlebots are annoying.
-Less monsters than RJP
Both
-2100-2800 cr on average including boss
-About Equal heat, no actual proof if IMF has less as both levels give maximum heat symbol.
I run both of them instead of FSC as its Boring. I do either depending on what I feel like.
Both are somewhat equal in difficulty, but to me JK has a worse history as Jellies kill me more :P
Weapon weak to nothing in JK: Elemental (Silk weengs)
Weapon weak to nothing in RT: Shadow (Gremleens)
I put all my points in the order I remember them in :P
tl;dr: Read the thing lazy >:P Its not even that long!
P.s I do both solo as parties increase monster health and annoy/kill me. And in RT switches getting hit all one after another just kills me.
You forgot the quicksilvers. Their jellies too and jellies are weak to shadow.
And I do more damage than when I wear a dusker coat.
I don't like doing IMF since the shock pisses me off. But I'd say IMF gives you more heat.
I did put Quicksilvers in the RT section. Im just saying, as easy as Quicksilvers can be alone, they technically are a huge threat when you are fighting other monsters as theyre random shock is blurp, I die to em once in a while. Quicksilvers are actually Friendly fire, they harm everything. My prime weapon to mechas c:
In my Asian server account I have almost no problem with both RJP and IMF as a 3* so I can say lag is the primary reason I die in main.
I think I might be more biased to RT as I run it more. I have memorised everything in RT from the random boxes areas, Monster spawns and Switch methods.
First level of JK has 8 Treasure boxes i think, RT has maximum of.... 12? 11? Around there. 0 heart boxes in JK for both levels and max of 5 in RT
2nd level of JK has about 8 i think Treasure boxes, 2nd RT level has max of about 16. about 6 Heart boxes max?
RT does have more heart boxes and treasure boxes so I dunno, its to make up for less monsters in total. But recently RT got buffed in Drops from monsters, and its treasure boxes are the same. RT used to have about 200 cr less than RJP on average, but now its about equal.
So yeah, RT is easier as it relies more on traps that can kill you, which can be mastered, while jellies in JK are terribad ._. If you are shocked, keep your shield up. when shock takes place it doesnt do any damage when shielded.
RJP:
-Have a full party
-Make one of your members carry all the poison vials (If more, make another one carry it)
-Make one member at least have a poison type weapon, if not, shadow.
-Bring elemental, shadow and poison weapons. (Rocket hammers are beast)
IMF:
-Full party
-When you reach the boss, have 1 good member do the switches (You must rely and trust them)
-Bring elemental resistance
-Constructed and gremlin enemies
-Make members bring a pointy weapon, shadow weapon, elemental weapon (NO SHOCK), hammer and any powerful weapons great against them
In this case, do whatever mission you want. If you cannot think of one, think WHAT TOKEN you would like. Bark modules or jelly gems. If you can't think of one, take whatever enemies you would like to fight
Personally, I prefer IMF
- Extremely simple while solo
- Heart Boxes can be saved, More reward boxes
- Practice maneuvering the traps
- I usually get maybe 200-400 crowns more payout than RJP
- Only 4 or 5 gremlins to deal with if you bring full elemental
- Bring an AP for the Twins, charge does an instant kill
- Pulsar is a very reliable weapon/cheap to sell, great profit
- A very low chance of receiving shock if you don't do anything stupid
- A Boltbrand with ONLY a level 10 bonus can instantly kill quicksilvers (Not confirmed with level 1 or 5)
The more damage and higher level, the better and safer
@Benightz, I'm pretty sure the hammer dash can't hit the twins. Also, the DA charge is much more effective than anything else, due to it's ability to hit multiple times on all 3 projectiles.
"elemental weapon (NO SHOCK)"
Shock is fine. Just don't use it on Quicksilvers.
IMF gives slightly more heat as of the drop adjustments. In addition, you also get one of the more desirable weapons in the game as a reward, the Pulsar, which is not only more sellable than the Sealed Sword and Antigua, but also has a cheaper unbinding cost as it is a 2* weapon.
If you have an elemental-line Brandish, you should be okay, since a charge will do a considerable amount of damage to the twins. (Forget the fact there's no surface to explode on, it does full damage.) The Divine Avenger is even better, a fully heated one of those OHKOing a twin with a charge and pushing it into the next stage even if you're in a larger party. You will probably also want an Acheron-line sword, since there are a good deal of Gremlins and Quicksilvers about. If you happen to have an alchemer, please do be careful with it since its ricochets can ruin the run.
Just... I wouldn't run IMF with a 4-man PUG. There's always one person who keeps hitting the switches and flipping the barriers as the rockets approach it. Bring along one friend, but not a full party.
U were raging in Ld this morning talk about IMF? IMF u die more from random rockets flaying about and JK? The tier 3 Jellies and Squads of lumbers, Which one? RJP
I prefer RJP, I can solo, IMF , I cant I use a boltbrand and I spam the charge O.O lol
Just don't spam the charge on Quicksilvers and you'll be fine.
If you can solo RJP, there's no excuse for not being able to solo IMF.
I lag more in IMF (In Australia) RJP is minimum lag and IMF is huge lag
I'm from brunei(hometown) and currently at singapore and i lag everytime whenever i enter twins. >.>"
While rjp,i never had lag.
But i assume you'll want rjp since it only take 20sec to kill jelly king. >.>'
Finally someone that has experienced!
Lag gets me disconnected and then I end up getting kicked =(
What i see when i inspect : Full white 2 seconds later:SK Closes
Player logs back on, gets kicked, forced to solo and has no heat

get someone used to the layout to deactivate rocket traps so other ppl can pass, that makes IMF quite simpler.
also, yes, it has a higher Cr/heat increase. i think its like 1.1kcr per level.
