Hello.
I was thinking instead of circles for snowflakes during the winter or in cooling chambers, they should be little gears. There can be different types of gears, at least about 3. On could look like a normal gear, another could have a hole in the middle, and the last would look more like a cog.This could be a little side project for the art team when they have nothing better to do.
I feel this will add to the overall feeling of giant gears rotating under the surface of the planet.

I meant for the cogs to simply be a reskin of the current snowflakes. No spinny animations or higher resolution required.
Also, keep them 2d.

Still think this is a good idea. The gears would just be like the current snowflakes (y'know, all round and 2d and white), just shaped differently. It would take the art team less than 5 minutes. Come on guys. You could wait 'til winter. Just not spring, mkay?
