Well it happened yesterday, 7th of October, around 9:30 in the morning, Australia time zone. It was a normal day, but I got up a bit early to check some auctions, in particular that prismatic canteen, I discovered the price was like 380k, way too high, maybe the seller bided on it him/herself? Who cares, I checked some other ‘very short’ auctions, bided on some materials. When I was about to close the client and study for Extension 1 Maths (yes, I'm a Year 12 student working on HSC) my mum came, she needs to check some stuff. Therefore I foolishly asked her to keep an eye on those auctions, also move the mouse in-game every 5~10 minutes, just to boost that lame 'online time' thing.

Then it happened, according to her my account 'disappeared', therefore I went and checked, only my alt was shown, which is, well a bid inappropriate, basically saying '…. basil' but typed backwards to avoid the system from flagging it as inappropriate thereby not letting me register - it was from months ago when I was hunting for a Polaris recipe, 10+ arcade runs, neither hope nor luck :(, bought the only one in AH for 56k, afterwards I went on another run, there it is, the recipe RIGHT AFTER SPENDING ME A FORTUNE. xD Didn't rage but sighed at my luck, and registered that stupid little alt.

Ok so I restarted SK client and the account still wasn’t. I asked her what happened - she told me that she tried to login, clicked a small button below the character and typed in my name. I looked below my character, of course my cute alt, there's only 'delete', I clicked on it and it wanted me to type in my name, then I went raging. I asked her if she could read and understand English or not, well apparently yes!!! I still don't know why and how, but all I could say is - She's my mum, so get over it, English isn't her first language anyways, but she does know what delete means. Maybe due to weather and early in the morning people don't think that well, like I messed up some stupid +, - in an easy question before she deleted my main knight.

I couldn't bother to study anymore, went to support portal and wrote a huge essay regarding to the consequences, why I should get it back, a conclusion referring to 'thesis' and loads of boring stuff such. After that I tried to calm down. She nearly cried and then went shopping (She knew I’ve been playing this game a lot, the importance of my account and of course the money wasted xD), instead of revising (of course my good day was ruined) I went a bit Minecrafting, boring stuff indeed.

I didn't know it caused some drama, particularly in my guild, Dark Guardians, my guildies were spamming RIP Hades everywhere thinking I quit without saying goodbye. Some thought I quit due to raging over latency, some though I wanted to focus on study, but that's not the fact.

I should thank OOO, it took only 6 hours to recover my account (although I have to say, a game 'DNF' ran by Tencent, a Chinese company has 'self-recovery' where the user can simply log-on and reclaim their accounts my selecting which one, and after less than one minute the account is back! But whatever, this time I learnt a lesson xD), I got all my stuff, my materials, my ignore list back. The only thing was, I got 'auto-kicked' out of guild and my friend list was empty. It could be worse but meh, I was going to delete lots of inactive people but too lazy, clicking and deleting them one by one is an eternity. This time my mum helped me.

Well thanks to all my guildies and my friends and of course our GMs! I will not delete my account even if I quit/take a long rest. And sorry for the drama and inconvenience xD, it was all my fault!
