Best Pre-Vanaduke Farming?

I'm a relatively new player, and I was wondering...
Once I get all 4* gear, will it be better to farm T3 or Royal Jelly? I'm already doing Royal Jelly with my 3* equipment, but I was wondering if there was something good to farm in between Royal Jelly and Vanaduke (since it is my understanding that Vanaduke is infeasible without 5* gear). I'd like to get the gear that can best accelerate my farming.
Any input is appreciated!
@Madcap I know this might sound rude but, I know you want to show your god awful Vanduke run to the world but you should at least answer his question you went of on a rant of your own.
As for farming, the general consensus is that jelly king runs are the best for general farming, A lot of heat, a lot of crowns a boss that drops tokens for special weapons and above all EXTREMELY easy. That being said you dont get bad heat from other Gates as long as they're the same floors, but I would not recommend T3 for farming unless you're looking for a specific high-end material the rewards are not that much better than T2(especially if you compare difficulty) so you're better off there.(you can actually get a lot of Heat in the lower levels of T1 as well)
You can also try going in Gates with a lot of Arenas and Danger rooms those can be fun & provide good heat while offering a change of scenery from the Jelly Palace.

Cool, thank you both for your responses. I think I will go Salamander Armor/Helmet as they provide decent normal and elemental defense along with bonus vs. slimes and fire resist. That way I could feasibly attempt Vanaduke while still being aptly geared to kill the Royal Jelly.
I forgive you, sasano. How's this?
Firestorm and Vanaduke is where you want to farm - anything else is just to get there. It's definitely the best way to trade mist energy-->[total value] out there. So if you want to farm well, you want to farm firestorm and Vanaduke. To get there as soon as possible, run the Jelly King for Antiguas (and then you're done with the Jelly King). After that, you are pretty much golden (although divine avengers help a ton).
Any other armor is just icing on the cake - they make the fight A LOT easier, but it's not necessary. You don't need to take 20+ hits from Vanaduke before going down if you have good team.
ffs pls don't take madcap's """advice"""
Bah, Antiguas and DAs. If you sell those very weapons, applying your Jelly Tokens towards pure money, you can get your 5* gear that much faster. With a nameless hat, sunset duster, wise owlite shield, and a volt driver, you can reasonably farm Firestorm citadel floors 25 and 26. You'll have some hiccups in floor 24 and 27 simply because damage in the burning bridge is almost inevitable and floor 4 will pitch multiple trojans in enclosed spaces.
I consider the bounces and movement restrictions of the voltech and cryotech alchemers to be far superior to the pure damage of the elemental antigua line for the purpose of killing skeletons in the citadel. You'll need a different weapon for Vanaduke and potentially for the trojans/wolvers/slimes, but slimes are hardly threatening and Callahan is really fun to shoot.
Sdgo needs its own Firestorm/Vana vid. Those cats know how to roll.
Didn't Madcap use Sentenza's in his video?
Who told you Van is infeasible without 5* gears
Deadcow owned him w/ 4* and 3* gears
Elitism, good for the soul.
You can farm Vanaduke as soon as you get 5* guns (preferably at least 2 Argent's in your party). Getting there is a lot easier with a Divine Avenger.
The rest of your equipment doesn't matter if you have good teamwork and skills. (And not even that great.)
My video's should prove it: http://www.justin.tv/madcap7331/videos
(You should be farming Jelly King for the Antigua's (they cost 25 J.K. tokens) for the Argent (or other guns).)
