Friend bought a elevator pass

Hi,
A recent friend of mine bought a elevator pass, so we went into clockworks, he tabbed us (2 of us) and we went down, we didn't lose any Myst but my friend with the pass lost Myst energy.
Does the elevator pass only work for one who paid? and when tabbing others it doesn't work?

yeah the elevator pass only works for the one who paid, if you tab another player and you have elevator pass only your energy will start to decreased every floor you go down. so yeah only for the one who paid the elevator pass will work.
