can someone explain this?
the Swarm needs minerals for its levels to survive. So it hacked into HQ database and leeched it self to the Mineral Drops.
"Anti mineral disruption! theme chosen randomly"
"Theme may not match stratum below"
Do you need a better explaination?
It's basically what happens when too much of one mineral is in the system, the game balances it out by creating a stratum which will give out different minerals or provide different levels to those appearing in other gates. So the game isn't so repetitive.
But since every level is a clockworks passage I don't think changing the colour of the background matters too much.
that's what the swarm WANTS you to think.....
/sigh
It's impossible for the Swarm to be a gate stratum. They exist on a whole new set of elevators without depth markings.
Also, the font for 'Swarm' is different.
In short? *cough*Photoshop*cough*.
Fake as this may be, I think the swarm beginning to infect random parts of the upper levels of the clockworks would make for some interesting new experiences/content/maps. Though since they don't give heat and crowns something would have to be done about that.
If the only thing it wants is access to the core, why would it go back up to the higher levels?
Oh so you guys were talking about the swarm, I was more shocked that the gate bellow was 4cr for one crimson mineral!
Is that what it wants? Forgive me for I haven't been keeping track of SK lore lately, I've more or less forgotten. I had assumed that the swarm was just trying to consume everything like a parasite. If anything I viewed it as an almost in game version of...oh what's his name...Happyapathy's "Embrace the Darkness.". Though I should probably warn you I've forgotten most of the finer details of that as well so my interpretation is probably completely off there too.
Anyway, it was more of a comment of "Hey X would be a neat thing to see.", in the context of the pic. Anything out of the ordinary would be a welcome distraction imo.
yes we can explain that. That answers your question, right?
