Giving away 1,000 CE to the person who purchases my Tabard of the Red Rose off the AH (1.2M bid / 1.5M buy) before the person who undercut my price by 50k cr's sells.

While I acknowledge that I won't be able to figure out whose sells first if they both sell before I check them, but if that is the case I will still give away 1,000 CE to the person who buys mine!

What you will need to do as proof that it was you who bought it is take a screenshot of your bids page that includes the 1,500,000 cr Red Tabard with the proof that you won the auction on it after you purchase off the AH.

So who wants a shiny new red tabard? :D

PS - whoever undercut mine, hope you enjoy this thread!

Also: it doesn't need to be bought out! If my auction ends first for a bid price, I'll still give out the 1,000 CE to whoever wins the auction!! :D

Let's fight back against people who undercut our auctions on the AH!

I wish you all the best, but actually what you're offering amounts to "WTS red tab for 1.2-1.5 mil cr minus 1k CE", right? It's just a discount on the stated price.

Probably the smart choice would be for a buyer to wait for the auction to end, hope it gets no bids, and then try to buy it from you direct for even cheaper.

it depends on how you look at

it depends on how you look at it, since 1,200,000 cr is around 13K CE, and refunding them 1K CE is 12K CE. I'll still be looking to sell it for around 15K CE in trade chat (~1,350,000 cr), it might just take longer. This way, I'm providing a fairly cheap alternative of only 12K CE.

Then your offer is pretty illogical.

If you'd only be willing to sell for 15k CE, why do you want someone to bid on it and win it at 1.2 mil cr, refunding them 1k CE to boot? You'd actually only be getting 11k CE in the end, since the AH will take off 10% of the sale price in fees.
