was today talking to strangers in Haven....yes I do that alot. (strangers as players i don't know, not the useless NPC in Haven...)
anyway, we got into a discussion of some fail logic of Cradle. and how scary snipes are.

We got to the point of armor and how they work collecting mist from the air.
Wiki reads,
"Each knight's armor has a reserve tank which will automatically distill mist energy from the air....A unit of mist energy recharges in approximately 13.2 minutes; it takes 22 hours to recover a full 100 mist energy."

Would it not make sense that as our armor upgrades, shouldn't it also upgrade Mist Collecting?
from maybe 13.2 minutes/22 hours to something like 10 minutes/16.5 hours to recharge.
right now, our proto gear collects mist energy at 13.2 min intervals. Our 5* gear collects same mist energy at the same time, 13.2 minutes.
What i'm saying makes sense, is very practical, but....is it okay? does this effect something huge?
this is maybe a suggestion, maybe not. Just want to confirm if this is a good idea, then i could go edit this, revise it and show you a rough draft.
if not, then ill just send this to graveyard. d3rp.

Yes, it makes game sense, but not logical sense. It has bad effects, and does nothing but make the game a liiittle bit more realistic. Kind of like making it possible for my character to fall off a cliff and delete my account.

You mean making mist recharge faster because you have higher rank equipment equipped?

The rich get richer. We want newer players to have something feasible to look up to, not be deterred by higher tier players pumping out more crowns because their mist builds up faster thus creating more inflation so their new equipment set is that much more expensive to work for.

Besides, the tank is inside us; like an organ. Not one of these, the squishy ones; except our knights are robots or something. They could still be squishy like a rubber pouch for a lung. That would explain how we breath.

derp.

i would assume it would encourage players to upgrade their armors. "a good armor makes a good soldier :)" not.
the time difference needs reworking but it should not be a gaping as 5* collects 1 mist every 10 seconds or something.
maybe a :45 difference per star... so if your a star 2 player or your highest armor you own is 2*, it would already collect Mist faster than right now.
missions help you get out of proto gear fast. too fast ._.

It doesn't need to be any easier for upper tier players to earn money. Also, I always assumed that being a good soldier made you a good solder. Even the best gear in the world doesn't stop you from shooting yourself in the foot and jumping into a pit.

Vitasuit Plus proves Knights aren't robots, but whatever.

Other than that, Luguiru was exactly right; giving higher-tier armor a faster mist regeneration would speed up the rate of CE price inflation.

I has suggestion!

Those T3 guys? Let's give them increased mist regen so they can grind Vanaduke twice as much.

Those T1 guys? Meh they don't really need more mist. It's not like they actually need the money unlike the T3 players or something.

@Oatmonster: Well...a good soldier oftentimes has good armor to go with it soon enough, yeah? You don't see many good soldiers in weak armor, really. Not for long, anyway. I mean just look at master chief.

okay......

was just asking politely if i should suggest it completely.
no need to mock me or whatever as you could clearly see i did not think this out all the way.
also armor making good players reference came from a RL paraphrased war saying :)
p.s will leave this for 10 minutes or something b4 i send to graveyard.
