Chance of getting UVs when crafting.

Has it gone down? I used to get UVs all the time when alt crafting, and I've crafted over 30 items now on alts and not had a single UV. Just seems a bit suspicious. :v Or am I just unlucky. XD

You're probably just unlucky. I've kept a spreadsheet of all my crafting attempts over the past 10 months, and things haven't changed much in that time. You get periods that are below the ~10% average, and periods that are above the ~10% average.
General stats that I've kept:
Total crafts: 2970
UV'ed items: 339 (11.41%)
Triple UVs: 0
Double UVs: 32 (1.08%)
Single UVs: 307 (10.33%)
Total UVs = 2*(Double UVs) + (Single UVs) = 371
Max/Very High: 8 (2.16%)
High: 31 (8.36%)
Medium: 80 (21.56%)
Low: 252 (67.92%)

You won't receive UVs until you have been auctioned.
Anyway, I think Punch modified all those alchemy machines. Has something to do with Punch's services.

@Tohlevi I believe so. I can feel him staring at me as I alt craft hoping for a UV, putting some curse on me or something.

One time I even saw punch smacking one of the alchemy machines repeatedly with his staff... said he was "crafting" something, but I know otherwise.

I should add that my longest streak without a UV is 50-60 crafts, so 30+ crafts without a UV does happen.

My little chart I kept since around a year ago.
This was over all my alts, and my main. Believe it or not.
Crafts: 381
UV's: 3
Maybe I just have a tad of bad luck.

...that's seriously bad luck. I'm pretty damn certain I had the same number of crafts, with about 30 UVs or so. Most of them were just junk, but I did get a Freeze Max on a Magic Hood and CTR High on an Autogun. I managed a streak of three CTR Low Fiery Vaporisers in a row, too, which was... pretty weird, actually.
I guess that's just the way things are. :U
I haven't noticed that the rate has gone down. I am currently compiling my own data, with a 14% UV rate after 84 items. We need much bigger samples, I think. I wish I had started recording my crafting results much earlier. :(
