Is "challenging yourself" (No shield, No vita, No sword) a reason to quit parties?

If you are the party leader and the one "challenging yourself" should the other members quit? I mean I tell my party and all BUT they they still quit. Is it because of the low gun damage? Should they be more confident in me when I say "i'm going for a no shield challenge" or am I just bothering randoms when I do this?

technically...yea

your not an asset to the team. your just running around.
of course, it also depends on what team you get. If your with me, I would let you do it and might join in.
if you do want to challenge yourself and help out, do Lockdown weaponless. Points matter, not damage :)

Oh I see

It's one of those "do it on your own time" achievement type deals. So if I don't get a response from "hey guys i'm going no shield" I should just go with the norm?

my guild has an achievement

my guild has an achievement thing similar to this, i believe the guild master went full valk, no shield, no pick-ups, and uses only guns in fsc. this meant that if she caught fire she was doomed but could still take few hits and i dont think she died....she has pics....

I'd highly recommend saving

I'd highly recommend saving challenges like that for either solo play or with friends/guildmates only. People don't like their randoms to be potentially crippled, and just because you're going for a personal challenge doesn't mean that a random group is going to automatically believe you are skilled.

I've been booted from parties for trying to heat 4* armor. It's not great but I do understand where they're coming from and can relate to that. Maybe once we get to know you, sure, but joining a random person and knowing nothing else about them? Risky business for somebody who just wants to get things done.

Sometimes I cripple my party with bab to improve my challenge.

I mean, where is the challenge if your party can function with you in it?

No-Thanks
much easier if u dont tell them

just pretend to be normal. if u drag attention, then ur at fault lol

dealing with people can be a challenge itself, but t3 tends to have alot of tolerant people as well - havent met many in lower tiers yet i wonder why
