Promo items are there to reward players of SK for supporting OOO and allows them to make more content.

These are funded by people buying CE and encouraging OOO to add more enemies, harder clockworks, more variety of scenarios (horde mode?! with more than 4 knights?! for guilds?!!!) is great... but having a dig at them for the promos is no longer cool. It is good that the promos consist of accessories and vanity items - players would hate to be priced out of new content like the Shadow Lairs. These vanity items can be sold and you can rest assured that you are contributing towards a game you spend time on and enjoy. Wanting more out of SK != hate towards promos.

So next promo, enjoy it, support OOO and do what you want with the gifts, sell them and get some badass gear, gamble with the box, give it to me, whatever... and help SK continue to be a great game by making your criticism constructive.
