The Hall of Heroes

Introduction:
Hello there, my name is Jmtheawesome,
wait, who would name their kid 'Jmtheawesome'?
-Take 2-
Hello there, and if you have been like Lordofnecromancers and you are aware that my earlier story hasn't been finished yet, I will, finish it. But now, I decided to let loose something else I've been holding around.
Yerp, time to start another story, but just for all those 12 year old children... out there, there will be some background information you will have to know.
-Take 3-
Knight have gained he ability to use the energy they contain in their bodies as a weapon, a tool, and even a life saving emergency option. I have out a list of the types of energy usage identified by the story. On top of that, all knights have the uncanny ability to store their weapons and shtuff with unidentified technology, allowing them to change weapons and armor in battle.
Slash
Blade
Laser
Bomb
Adrenaline
Energize
Reverse-Energize.
-Take 4-
I will not.. be accepting characters.
I know, it sounds a little drastic, but I worked on this for some time..
However, the (main) characters are based on the members of the Hall of Heroes,
You know, the place where you yell at Barrus to give you star verification
and finally be able to pwn Vanaduke.
Yea.. Them.
BUT WAIT!
You only start off with 4 members, Barrus, Remi, Daxen, and Jorin!
While the enemy has complete 5* and has 7 members already!
-Take 5-
So yeah, if there are any suggestions for future shtuff,or questions or comments,
Don't hesitate to ask.
-Take 6-
However, if you dwell with criticism and all of that,
I have a separate list of actions you can take.
1. Press the 'back' button on your Internet browser.
2. Press the 'close' button on your Internet browser.
3. Write an angry comment on the microscopic problem
you happened to stumble on.
So yeah, and just for kicks..
Here's the first 3 chapters.
(+Prologue)

~Chapter 1
- Jorin
I crossed both arms behind my back and laying in the shade. Haven was just as bustling as always, knights of every color imaginable, except for black, white, and every color in between. Maybe brown, but that's different. They were all oblivious to the accident that happened 3 weeks ago, seeing as the gigantic cover-up worked like a charm. I caught glimpse of a hooded knight running from a number of guards. I picked up my Calibur, running in line with the knight. He was carrying a small radio, and was dressed in a Magic Hood. His eyes widened as he saw me running to him with a sword. He stuffed the radio in one of his pockets, and took out a Brandish. I ran straight into him, striking the tip of his sword with mine. That was enough force to knock him to the right. He started running again, this time, towards the arcade.
"I'll get him," I ordered the other guards to stop, leering as they backed away.
I ran straight after him, catching glimpse of him as he entered a transmission room.
I ran inside, and found him jamming the radio controls, grabbing the mic. I reached for the power cord, pulling it as the machinery turned off.
I grinned at him, while he grinned back.
"I need to tell them," He said, before he charged both of his hands with his own energy.
"What the- Energize?" I gasped, recognizing this form of an energy burst. Energize allows someone to charge machinery with their own energy, or even temporarily stun an enemy with an energy surge. He grabbed the cord from my hands, holding the metal with both hands. His hands glowed bright blue, charging the machinery with his own energy. Electricity surged into his body, he seizured from the sheer amount of electricity flowing into his body.
"Stop that-" I grabbed his shoulder, feeling the electricity shock me as well. My glove smelled like burning rubber. I bit my lip, grabbing both of his shoulders with my hands. Both of my hands immediately felt numb, and started to burn. I pulled him away from the power cord, his blue glow fading as the energy in the computer went into an overload, the monitor exploding above us. Shattered glass fell like rain, and a number of equipment on the walls broke on contact with the floor. I covered my face with my shoulder, and I knelt down to the floor to escape the smoke plume. The knight pushed away from me, and tried to run through the door for a familiar face to grab him by the neck.
"Daxen," I rose to my height, releasing the knight from his grip, instead I grabbed his right arm.
"He blew up an entire radio transmission base," Daxen leered at the hooded knight, who cowered behind me.
"Im bringing him to Barrus, he might have a use for him," I was about to walk away, when Daxen pulled out a gun.
"Don't, or I'll shoot," He loaded an Antigua, pointing the 3 star gun at the knight's face. I walked towards him, and put down his arm.
"He can use Energize, it's something neither of us can do," I saw his expression turn from anger, to surprise.
"Fine, but it he does that again, I'll-"
"He won't, right?" I looked at him with glare.
He shook his head.
"Good," Me and Daxen said at once.
- Cue Epic Walking Scene -
Barrus was surprised to see me dragging a knight in, so was Remi.
"It was Jorin's idea, not mine," Daxen immediately said, Barrus gave him a passive glare.
"Who is this?" Barrus raised an eyebrow at him.
"What's your name?" He walked closer to the knight, who looked pretty terrified. I have to admit, I would be pretty terrified if a knight, with a bloody bandage covering half of his face, and half of his body covered in the same, bloody cloth, came walking to you with an angry look.
"Raymond," He finally managed to say a word, which was his own name.
"Raymond, is it.." Barrus looked at me with an expression that said,
"Do you even know who this person is?"
Barrus leaned close to my ear, cupping his hands.
"This guy is wanted for stealing machinery, in fact, he has a bounty of 50K crowns on his head,"
"You're going to send him in?" I angrily whispered back at him.
"I have top-notch armor and gear insurance, along with all the money I need from the Spiral Order, I don't need the money," Barrus shrugged, his tattered red scarf still intact.
"You have a point, but what about Daxen?"
"Get Daxen and Remi," Barrus leaned away, looking at them instantly signaled them to come over.
"Listen, I'll leave it up to you guys to decide the fate of this knight," Barrus then walked away. Remi looked at us with a confused face, while Daxen glared at me.
"Can you guys explain this to me?" Remi scratched her head.
- Cue Explaination Scene -
"I don't need a wanted person hanging around here," Daxen leered at me with a soul-piercing glare.
"He can be a great use to us," I glared at him back.
"Well.." Remi looked down at the ground.
"Well what?!" The both of us nearly screamed.
"I want him.." Remi's face became shadowed by her visor, looking pretty suspenseful to us. Daxen was literally drooling for an answer.
"..to stay," Daxen's face immediately resembled one of a knight who lost all of his Crowns to a beggar, and walked away. Raymond's eyes lit up, and smiled.
"Raymond, you need to change your name to keep yourself from being caught," Barrus waved a crutch at him, Raymond thought deeply of any names he would like to change to.
"Archi.." He started to say a new name, but was caught up with himself.
"Archilus," He finally declared himself a new name.
He grinned at the sight of Barrus smiling back at him, while Daxen tilted his hat downwards and began to doze off.
"Daxen, that is no way to celebrate a new member," Barrus threw a wrench at him, where Daxen caught it with ease.
"Don't throw your garbage at me," Daxen continued to doze off.
"I have Chroma-ale,"
"Congratulations and welcome to the team!" Daxen suddenly yelled at Archilus, who started laughing. Remi and Barrus started cracking up, and he nearly fell off his crutches.

~Chapter 2
The wind inside of the guildhall of Seven Souls was always chilly. Usually, knights would wear a scarf or a coat in this kind of temperature. But for the seven knights that call that horrid place a meeting room, they found the temperature a little too mild.
"Neil, where is Nero?" Adam, the leader asked. He represented the first sin, pride. The feeling of happiness and accomplishment from doing wrong.
"He is currently wrecking another outpost, he said the whole place was going to be burning down in an hour," Neil said as he tossed a Storm Driver to himself. He represented greed, a force that makes humans get what they don't need.
"We'll see about that," Jay, the group's defender said nonchalantly from his side, eating his 17th plate of raw beef. He represented gluttony, the never-ending need for what you already possess.
"Don't eat too much, you'll explode," Husk, the group's technician and radio operator insulted from the opposite side as him. He represented sloth, a sin born from humanity's inevitable laziness.
"Says the one who does nothing but push buttons all day," Mira, a younger knight who represents the sin of envy, a sin created from humanity's desire to acquire what others have.
"All of you, shush," Isa, the manipulator of the whole gang was lazily resting on the railing of the platform. She represented lust, a passionate desire for whatever the item or idea.
Nero, the team's berserker was on one of his daily raids on outposts and slums. He represents the ever-primitive sin of wrath, the sin born from the want to do harm onto those you despise.
"I'm going out," Neil announced suddenly, taking with him his signature Storm Drivers.
"Don't get yourself killed," Isa gave him a sweet smile.
"I won't," Neil's silhouette disappeared as he walked out the door, he was a malevolent force that was to be reckoned with.
~Daxen
"No, I'm not going to eat that," I pushed whatever disgusting thing Remi was trying to make me eat.
"Just TRY it," Remi pushed it towards me again.
"Does it LOOK like I have a death wish or something!?" I shot the metallic tray with a gun, however the bullet didn't do as much as dent the heavy-duty metal.
"I'll try it," Archilus said. I was easily impressed by this guy's bravery.
Archilus took one bite out of the mystery substance, and chewed. I was waiting for him to do something close to throwing up.
"It's not bad, actually,"
I was dumbfounded, so was Jorin and Barrus. Jorin took a bite as well, and gave me the same remark.
"Barrus?" Remi shoved the plate in his face.
"I have a beer," He shoved it away.
"Daxen?" She then came to me, and shoved it in my face.
I'm going to kick myself later for this...
Nodding, she handed it too me along with a fork. My hand trembling, I took it in my hands and lifted a piece of the meat towards my face.
*Bite*
. . .
/5 seconds later../
I handed a clean tray to Remi, along with the fork.
"I'm going out to the Bazaar, need anything?" I announced to everyone.
"Lots of beer!" Barrus shouted.
"No, no more beer," Remi shouted back at him.
"Fine, I'll get the beer," I sighed of a little relief, and walked out the door.
- One Walk Later.. -
Now I'm in front of a stand for alcoholic drinks.
"Oh, his usual?" The alcohol merchant, who is one of my close friends, knew about the relationship between Barrus and his drinks.
"Make that twice the amount," I sighed, and leaned against the stand.
He came back with a dozen dozen packs of Chroma-ale. (Yes, a dozen dozen,)
I handed to him a wad of crowns, and he gave me a sliding cart for rent.
"I'll make sure you get this back," He smiled nonchalantly back at me, as he loaded the cart with the all of the beer.
"Cut-off prevention much?" He yelled, as I dragged it along with me.
I looked like a complete idiot dragging around that much alcohol with me. I somehow didn't watch where I was going, and knocked into someone.
"Hey, watch it," He leered at me, I could clearly see the Storm Drivers that were hanging out of his pockets.
"Idiot," I whispered to myself. Moments later, I felt a hand grasp the back of my neck.
"What was that?" He slammed my body into a nearby wall, clenching my neck a little harder as I struggled to breathe.
"Idiot," I said tauntingly at him. He let go of my neck, feeling the blood rush back to my head.
I blinked once or twice, until I saw his fist heading straight to my face. I moved out of the way for him to recoil from slamming his knuckles into the cinderblock wall.
I grabbed the handle of the cart, and started running. I could hear the click of a clip of liquid plasma being locked into a Storm Driver, and ducked to avoid a number of charged energy shots.
"Get back here-" He shouted, before I pulled out a gun of my own.
"Why don't you come over here and make me-"
*WRRRR*
I immediately recognized that sound as the charging up of energy for a burst. I ran behind a tight turn to avoid being roasted by an energy beam. I caught glimpse of the hall's entrance through the arcade, and started running even faster. A drop of electrically charged liquid caught onto my shoulder, and I felt a strong sting of plasma as it seeped into my clothing. I suddenly had an idea, and took out a Firotech Alchemer. I grabbed one of the bottles of beer from the cart, and loaded my gun. I caught the door of the hall, and pushed the cart inside, slamming it shut as a electrically charged liquid was being fired at me at a godly speed. I threw the bottle at him, and aimed my gun at the flying glass container.
"Steady..." I waited until the bottle was right in front of the knight, and fired my gun.
*BOOM*
The explosion from the flammable beer knocked me back straight into the door. And the knight that was chasing me was roasted and limping away.
"Heh, that better teach hi-" I immediately felt like I was being watched, and turned around to see Barrus staring a me coldly.
"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH MY BEER?!" He screamed.

~Chapter 3
~Neil
I coughed out some blood, sitting up as tiny shards of glass scattered on my body fell off.
"Shoot," I said, picking myself up and started limping away.
I found myself back at the guildhall doors, the pains finally receding from my face.
"Good afternoon guild master Neil-"
"Cut the crap, open the door," Growling at him, the guard opened the door, greeted by a wall of cold air.
"Neil! What on Cradle happened to you-" Isa ran to greet me, her pet Sapphire Greaver fluttering beside her. That thing looked like an oversized killer butterfly. That was BLUE.
I wanted to swat that thing away, with a bat, but then that would lower my chances with her. After all, Nero was eyeing her as well. I'm not going to lose to a slobbery, drooling idiot who spends more time in other people's blood than he does in a shower.
"Earth to Neil, earth to Neil," Mira's floating skulls waved in front of my face. I broke through one with a single punch, she backed away along with her spirits.
"A beer explosion, nothing more," I said with a deep tone in my voice. Then I noticed Nero watching from a distance, his red eyes matched his Vog Cub coat.
"I see the wolf returned to his den," I taunted at him, until I noticed another silhouette grew from his back. An Alpha Ash Tail stared at me with pure hate, baring it's sharp canines.
"His name is Agro," Although Nero speaks gibberish and insanity when he's tearing down a city, he almost never seems as calm as this.
"Alright, you guys have your own pets, and what do I have?" I slid it out from my pocket, and showed it to them.
"Watch closely," I taunted at Nero, who gave me a fiery leer.
I threw it onto the ground, and it started to unfold and connect. It finally assembled itself into a Mecha Knight, but customized with a few extra things.
I saw Nero twitch.
"Remember, these babies are hand built, from hours of-"
*WAM*
Nero pulled away his Combuster from the smoldering wreckage that was my Mecha Knight.
"Wha- did you just- how did-" I gargled my own speech. I was dumbfounded by the simplicity of his action.
"It isn't that strong, isn't it.." Nero scratched his head, and sheathed one of his Combusters.
"YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO BUILD THAT THING?! 5 WEEKS! 5 PAINSTAKINGLY LONG WEEKS OF SITTING IN A SMALL, CRAMPED LABORATORY WITH A FATTY WHO CAN'T PICK UP A SWORD!" I screamed at him. Sure Isa was watching, but it was well worth her watching.
"I resent that," Husk lazily yelled from a mere 4 yards away. I pulled out my Polaris, and pointed it at Nero. I really wanted to pull the trigger on him, but with Isa and a growling Alpha Ash Tail tugging my leg, I couldn't.
"Just this once, you freak of nature," I scowled at him, and walked towards the laboratory again. Another 5 weeks, already planned out for me.
Freaking Nero.
| Thousands of feet away.. |
~Zebulon
"Zebulon, you really are a weirdo," Walkon, drunk smiled at me, and fell of his chair. I didn't even take a sip out of the Chroma-Ale.
"What are we even playing?" I growled, throwing the cards onto the table.
"I dunno, Checkers?" Walkon blushed all of a sudden, while the bartender came over.
"That'll be 2K crowns, boys," He stuck out the glove of his Mighty Cobalt set. I reached into my pocket, and grabbed all the change I had.
1980..
1990..
2000, perfect.
I handed him the wad of cash that was everything else I had in my pockets.
"No more beer," I grabbed Walkon, and headed out. Walkon wasn't even walking anymore, it was more like the Chromalisk was dragging a guy in a Jelly Set.
"Hey.. Zeb.." Walkon tugged at my shoulder. He was pointing to a mercenary guild stand, where someone was handing out some fliers for their guild.
"What? Oh, you want us to join?" Walkon nodded. I dragged him into line, and watched as we started to come closer to the front.
"Wait, lemme do something," I put Walkon down, and changed my armor using a loadout. Instead of wearing a Chromalisk set, I was now wearing an Angelic set.
"Smart," Was all Walkon could say, before gurgling like a baby. I sighed, but then I finally came eye-to-eye with the recruiter.
"Hello, what are your names?" He asked, and stared at Walkon.
"Walkon and Zebulon,"
"Occupation?"
"Drunkards,"
"Any special talent?"
"We're able to do this blue, cross slash thingy,"
"Work of interest?"
"Field work,"
"Now, anything else you would like to remark?"
"Give all the payment to me, Walkon will just use it all to buy beer," I sighed, as Walkon passed out on the floor.
"Good good, secret evil agenda?"
"Wait, what?"
"Nothing, welcome to Crimson Skies,"
"Thank you, so, when's our first job?"
"Next," He pushed me and Walkon out of the way, and left me there with the signed papers in my hand. This guild must be desperate for members.

Reference?

Awesome writing as always. :3 Although I did catch a few things that didn't make much sense to me.
"He represented greed, a force that makes humans get what they don't need."
"He represented sloth, a sin born from humanity's inevitable laziness."
"sin created from humanity's desire to acquire what others have."
So... The Spiral Knights are humans?
And...
"Earth to Neil, earth to Neil,"
EARTH. See what's wrong there?
Although I do suppose that "Cradle to Neil" would sound really wierd.
and...
"eating his 17th plate of raw beef"
"17th plate of raw beef"
"Plate of raw beef"
"raw beef"
"BEEF"
._.
They have cows on Cradle?
OK, enough with the critism and on with the other stuff.
I LOLed so hard when I read the Crimson Skies recruitment conversation. XD

~Chapter 4
~Remi
"Daxen, what the Vog happened to you," I rushed over to him, pulling out a Vitakit, when Archilus pushed me aside.
"Let me see him," He said, beginning to charge both of his hands with energy.
"What the heck are you doing?!" Daxen screamed.
"Normalizing the voltage in your body, whoever your faced must've used a lot of electricity," Archilus placed his hands on Daxen's chest.
Sparks of blue electricity ran up his hands, and Daxen grimaced of a little pain. Archilus finally took off his hands, and pulled out the radio he was keeping in his pocket. Daxen stood up, and watched as Archilus drained the excess energy into the radio, which glowed from the power.
"Is that why you carry that around?" I asked, reaching to touch it, when I felt the jolt of it's energy.
"Yes, and it's also why the officials have been on my cloaktails for the past year," Archilus packed the radio in his pocket.
"So, you're basically a living dynamo.." I said, Archilus looked at me with surprise.
"Yep, and I constantly steal appliances to pack the energy into, if I store too much, I'll die," Archilus rubbed his hands together, already there were sparks.
"It's a blessing, and a curse," He said promptly before walking away.
"Hold it guys," Barrus yelled, walking to us with a computer in his hands.
"Just got word from Feron, there seems to be a riot going on, a Mercenary guild was despatched, but they said it might not be enough,"
"Jorin, Remi, you're going to be holding back the riot, if anyone comes at you with their blade, come back with the same reaction," Barrus pointed to the both of us, we nodded promptly.
"Archilus, take care of Daxen," He leered at Daxen, who scowled at him.
"What was the riot about?" Jorin said as we almost exited through the threshold.
"Beer,"
~Walkon
I may still be drunk out of my mind, but I know better than just to sit down and watch every other member of Crimson Skies go off on a mass mercenary mission.
"Can you stand up?" Zebulon reached out his hand for mine. I grasped his Chromalisk glove in my Jelly Set, and stood up. My legs felt like jelly, wait, they WERE jelly. Ha ha, ugh..
I grabbed my Swift Flourish, and used it to lean on.
"Ready?" Zebulon said, as he took out his Sealed Sword.
"Yeah," I got over my stomach pains, and started to run to the exit of the living quarters.
"What was the riot about anyway?" I asked Zebulon as we neared the entrance to the Bazaar.
"Beer," He said, as I felt a million nerves snap. They're going to make a riot 'bout BEER without me or Zeb around? I'm going to make heads roll, kill their friends and children, then their grandchildren, and then thei-
"WALKON," Zebulon shook my shoulder, I instantly snapped out of my trance. I saw someone take out a Cutter, and near Zebulon with it backhanded. I impaled his right arm with my Swift Flourish, Zebulon had a look of surprise when he saw the knight fall behind him.
"Let's GO!" Zebulon and I ran into the crowd, pushing back drunkards and crazy people. Mostly drunkards. They hit the top of my head with a beer bottle, the shards planted themselves on the tip of my armor. I rammed into a numerous amount of them, the shards of glass and stuff coming off with ease. Zebulon just fended back a Vangaurd when we caught glimpse of a bigger number of them coming after us.
"Ready?" Zebulon said as he readied for our special attack.
"When you are!" I said back to him, grinning as we started to glow a bright blue hue.
"Energy CROSS!" We both yelled at the same time slashing our swords in line with each other to form an X shaped bar of energy. It flew to the incoming drunk Vangaurds, pushing them back and lacerating their armor.
"Heh.." Zebulon panted. I grabbed the handle of my Swift Flourish again, leaning against it as Zebulon did the same with his sword. We immediately recovered from the shock, and started battling alongside everyone else. I thrashed my sword through a lot of crazy people, their blood and beer ran through the streets. Zebulon just fell another five-star user when I caught glimpse of a Mighty Cobalt knight bringing up his sword on him. I lashed out my blade on him, sparks flew, and metal grinded like gears. I stabbed him in the shoulder, and his sword nearly got itself in my side, blocking it while and explosion knocked me into the ground. Angry, I let loose another slash, the blue and white careened through the air the struck the one who knocked me into the ground. She went flying, before she clapped both of her hands together.
"Get down!" The Mighty Cobalt knight yelled, before an explosion the size of a Nitronome rocked the bazaar.
~Zebulon
I could feel myself completely numb, and my ears rang like a bell. I could see Walkon, not moving until I felt a strong hand grip the back of my neck. Blood from rocks and glass piercing my armor trickled steadily from my chest down. I gripped tightly to my sword, fearing that the worst was yet to come.
I could feel myself being dragged away moments before fainting.
. . .
. . .
"Are you COMPLETELY sure you didn't kill him?" I heard a low, strong voice say.
"Yes- I saw him blink!" Another voice said, this one a little higher pitched and masculine.
"He's waking up.." Another said, but this one was female.
"No duh, you don't have to be Vaelyn to know that," A stocky growl coming from another knight was followed by a sharp pain in the back. It felt like an electric shock, but a whole lot worse. Sparks ran all the way up my spine, and I was forced to come to.
I was surrounded by multiple knights, except for one who was laying on a chair.
"Where is he!?" I snapped, a little dizzy from fainting, but I managed to grab my sword.
"Calm down.." I heard a familiar voice followed by a shoulder's grab, and Walkon was there to greet me.
"So, these are the two who can use it?" A deep and strong growl came from behind the four knights who were looking at us, they moved out of the way for a taller, knight to leer at us. He had red eyes, and a tattered scarf hung around his neck. However, he was wearing crutches and had a bandage across his face.
"What do you mean?" Glaring at everyone around us, I took out my sword, seeing as Walkon did the same.
"An energy burst," The one in a magic set said, lifting his hands up to show no hostility.
"An what?" Walkon growled, brandishing a Swift Flourish.
"The ability to briefly manipulate the mist, or crystal energy in your body, into physical means or as a way to control certain objects or power them,"
"Uh.. what?" I scratched my head, a little confused with her explanation.
"Using your energy as a weapon," She glared.
"So THAT'S what it is," Walkon sheathed his Swift Flourish. Seeing as there isn't any hostility here, I sheathed mine as well.
"Wait, so what are we doing here?" I asked everyone, the one who was wearing Mighty Cobalt walked towards me.
"We want you to join the Hall of Heroes," He said, motioning his hand to show us the vastly empty room we were standing in.
"Oh.. we don't know, actually," I immediately cut off Walkon before he could say anything stupid.
"What? What's better than joining a task group focused on destro-"
"That's what I mean, me and Walkon are basically..."
"Drunkards, right?" The knight in the corner said suddenly.
"How did you find that out?" I was actually pretty surprised by that.
"You both smell horrible, your friend looks like he's about to pass out, and you're carrying a bottle right now!" He barked, I looked at my left hand to be greeted by a beer bottle. Wow.

~Chapter 5
~Daxen
I can't argue with them, being caught with the Spiral Order wasn't exactly my job of choice. We had to do whatever we did at whatever time needed. Even after all that work, we still have more stuff to do. As in, piles of reports, paperwork, and anything else that practically destroys the hands when done. I constantly complain that if I have to get surgery for a broken finger or something, it'll hamper what I'm able to do in times of an attack. Even though I complain about this to Barrus, the most he can come up with is,
"Then we'll fire you!"
That idiot.
"Listen, there's never been a death here, save for one," Remi said, trying to look helpful. She's the one to talk, it looked like death on her armor. Blood, scrapes, blast marks and dents everywhere. It looked like someone put a disaster movie on that thing. But unfortunately, unless we actually do something big, we won't get any upgrades.
"We're already enrolled in Crimson Skies, I don't think we need any more jobs than that," Zebulon said, trying to help a passing out Walkon. From Zebulon's look, resembled a Chromalisk who just got it's tail cut off. Walkon's face looked like a tired jelly. If jellies can even have facial expressions.
"Just stay here for a day, that's all," Barrus said, with a reassuring voice.
"Fine," Zebulon said, trying to stand up before his legs gave away.
"My apologies, I think I broke my leg from the explosion," He smiled like it was no big deal. I glared at Remi, who suddenly found an interest in the floor.
~Walkon
The truth is, I actually did want to join them. But I knew I should trust Zebulon with this decision, because he's been like that for a long time.
"Let's treat your wounds first," Remi said with a mischievous look in her eyes.
"What?" Zebulon said as she took out a gigantic suitcase. I peered inside, and nearly fainted from fear. There were Scalpels, Bandages, a Mist Tank, and many other surgical interments. I even found a couple shots of Adrenalin in there.
"Now then," She said as she reached inside of there. My mind was racing like a falling elevator, what was she going to choose?
The Scalpel?
The Scissors?
The Surgical Laser?
The Mallet?
I could tell that Zebulon had fear racing in his mind, because the back of his armor shook when he was scared, and it looked like he was having an earthquake.
"Here we go, some coolant and maybe a roll of bandages?" Remi took out a bottle filled with a light blue liquid, and a roll of thick bandages.
~Husk
Adam was busy planning in his mind, as always, and Nero and Neil were both fighting over Isa. Mira, was in a conversation with one of her spirits, the ones she made friends with. And most of all, Jay was eating. I really could use a nap right now, but Adam says that we need 50 more tanks of Toxigas by next week. Toxigas was the first stage in his plan, the gas would be spread into Haven and kill everything in it's way. Toxigas is made from the vaporized remains of a Toxigel, and getting he temperatures high enough to melt something like that, isn't very easy. However, I only had 20 of them left to go, which was a good thing. I was watching the docile creatures creep around the containment room, carried in glass boxes by my little helpers, much to Jay's dismay, but I was able to bribe him with a 16-pack of Haven Fried Snipes. It never occurred to me that Jay never gets fat, which is very odd. He looked like Nero for some reason, probably because of the fact-
"HUSK, can you play with me?" Mira popped in out of nowhere, ruining my narration.
"Sorry, not right now Mira, maybe later?" I tried to sound optimistic, even know we both knew I wouldn't be able to be with her.
"Aw.. That isn't fair," She stomped off somewhere again. I keep forgetting she's only 10. But since she's been friends with the dead more than the living, I can see why she's always so lonely. Just when I was feeling sad for her, Adam walked upon me.
"It's a shame.. right?" He always sounded old, like someone's grandfather. But he was only around 20 or something.
"She was locked away by her family, because they didn't like her," Adam said, grimly staring at the Toxigels being vaporized. I remember that Adam asked us what our story was before we decided to join.
"You were a guardian who wanted to be a technician,"
"Nero had his parents killed,"
"Neil wanted to be known to everyone,"
"Isa wished for everyone to like her,"
"Jay well.. his sin pretty much defines his story," Adam shrugged, flashing a smile he almost never showed to anyone.
"And you?" I said, before his smile quickly turned to a glare. It was one of those glares, that makes you want to turn and hide in the corner.
"My apologies," I turned and faced the machine again. 15 tanks of Toxigas were filled up, and I needed to replace a couple pipes.
"By the way-" I wanted to talk to Adam again, but he disappeared like he always does. I wonder how he does that. I was going to change the pipes when I noticed a black spot moving away in the corner. I couldn't get a closer look at it, since it vanished into the hallway.

I just saw nechrome's comment, so I haven't read anything... but greed and sloth? FMA reference much? I also just skimmed it and saw Lust... lol, definitely FMA reference XD
EDIT: Found Gluttony! :D

I have no idea what you are talking about.

~Chapter 6
~Remi
24 hours.
And that was our time limit to convince these two new recruits to join the Hall of Heroes. Although they both looked a little pessimistic about getting into the team, we tried to think of a mission we could make up.
"Retrieve a stolen item?" Jorin, Daxen and I were huddled in the corner trying to think of a plan.
"No, too obvious," Daxen leaned against the wall, looking with distaste.
"How one of us dress up as a thief, and snatch a bunch of wallets, that way we-" I immediately cut Daxen off. The last time we tried to recruit some one, Daxen wound up with buying an elevator pass.
"Quick, uh, Remi, think of something quick, do it, and come back within 10 minutes," Jorin said, pulling Daxen away. The first thing that came to my mind was a bomb explosion, but I thought that would be too weak. Or maybe...
"I'm going to go out for a while," I stood up, and marched right on out. I could tell that Barrus and Archy were staring at me, I could tell their stares like a high - density energy laser.
Looks like I'm going to the Clockworks.
~Jorin
I knew that what Remi was going to do was going to be bomb-related, but we were in a rush. Apparently, the last time we trusted her on her own, she blew up a small part of the Bazaar, injuring about a dozen people.
"Do you think we should bribe with mo-"
*BOOOM*
"Holy crap! What was tha-"
*BOOOOOOOM*
"Everyone get dow-"
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM*
I had been tossed into the wall, Zebulon and Walkon had been practically squashed by each other. Barrus fell off his crutches, and I think Daxen passed out from the shock.
"What was that?!" Barrus yelled, getting up to his height again.
"Oh no.." I immediately shot a look at Daxen.
He stated back at me with an awful look.
Barrus glared at the both of us, and the other 3 were pretty much throwing up outside.
"You can't be serious.." Barrus said, face palming.
"Remi," Me and Daxen said at once.
~Nero
"What did you do, Nero?" Neil said as everyone recovered from the earthquake.
"I was standing here, ruffling Agro," I said back to him.
"Just a minor earthquake, nothing bad about it," Adam pretty much just reappeared in mid-air. Until Husk ran out of the laboratory, and shut the gigantic door behind him.
"It's the Toxigas," He panted. "All the tanks have been smashed by the ceiling, and the gas is escaping!" He said, panting more. I peered through the glass wall in one of the sides, and found every gremlin inside passed out, or coughing from the toxic gas.
"Then why aren't you affected by it?" Mira said, running along with Jay and Isa.
"I've been around poisons my whole life, I'm immune to anything that's toxic," Husk said, being a little prideful about it. When he was a Gaurdian, he would just set up toxic gas traps everywhere, instead of actually doing the work.
"So? What now?" Eon cocked his head to the side.
"Well, the Vaporizer still works, so it will eventually overheat, unless we get the gas out, it'll eventually explode," Husk seemed to be a little worried, which was something rare for the technician.
"We can use the air duct, we were going to release the gas anyway, right?" I blurted out. I was hoping for when the gas goes around, I'm going to be able to see everyone die.
"Good idea Nero, open out the air duct, but first, let's put these on," Eon produced a number of Steam Masks, and we all fit them on after a minute of complaining.
"And I also happen to have an antidote," Husk said, raising a bottle of clear liquid.
"So.. How long for the gas to seep out?" Neil said, his Steam Mask had a picture of a lightning boot on it.
"12 hours, it's really thick though, so it might be a bit slow," Husk said. That's some really slow gas.
~Remi
Ok, first, let's get one thing straight. I didn't MEAN to do as much damage as I actually did. It worked like this, I was just gonna blow up a supporting column, and let some of it fall so knights would be trapped, and some monsters to come out. But instead, I found out that above it was a whole battalion of demos, and one idiot apparently had his bomb set on. After another explosion, I found myself laying in a graveyard, filled with Bombies.
And the result?
A wall of rubble walling from the elevators, and some of the ceiling is falling, which is pretty horrible. On top of that, knights are injured, and monsters are out for blood. Or at least, that's from my point of view. Barrus, Daxen, and Jorin thought I was trying to destroy a tenth of the clockworks. But there wasn't any time to waste, because Archilus was trying to take in everything around him.
"Ol, here's the run down," He said, getting everyone together.
"The chain explosion caught through 3 whole levels, a Deconstruction Zone, a Graveyard, and a Gremlin Jail," Archilus looked like he could sense everything that was broken, then again, coming from someone who can draw energy from the ground and turn it into electricity, that isn't very surprising. He must be able to sense anything that carries it, even the ground.
"We have 3 main objectives here,
1. Rescue the Injured
2. Fend off the monsters.
3. Clear a way to the elevators through the rubble,
But of course, it's easier said than done," Archilus kept his eyes in a trance, the faint glow of him using the energy was dimly illuminating the dark corridor.
"Ok, but Remi, I'll need to see you afterwards this," Barrus said, scowling.
I nervously shuffled my feet.
"I'll try to clear a way to the elevator," I said.
"Im going to use my energy detecting abilities to tell you over the intercom where trapped and walls are," Archilus said, while Barrus nodded.
"And I'll take the rest and complete the objectives," Barrus took out his Flourish, grinning.
"Ok, let's go!"

That's the end of the "peaceful" part of the story. There might be little nicks where there are parts like that. Just be patient..
~Prologue
Jorin swayed to the side to avoid a Wolver's bite, stabbing the furry beast in the side. He blinked as the blood from the dying beast sprayed him in the face.
Where is that idiot?
He thought to himself, slashing through others as an Alpha joined the fight. He moved too slow for a mere second, the Alpha's jaws caught hold of his left arm. His armor saved him in the nick of time, his arm barely surviving the attack. He caught glimpse of Daxen charging up his energy, and jumped out of the way for a powerful, bright blue laser to careen through the ground, leaving fried Alpha it's wake. Jorin was nearly caught in it's path, smelling the musk of burning beasts.
"Remi caught up yet?" Jorin panted, catching his breath as Daxen recoiled from his energy burst.
"Nope, she says she needs to set up some-"
*BOOM*
"Holy smokes.." Daxen covered his face with his elbow, coughing as dense smoke clouded the forest.
"Dangit, we're too late," Jorin coughed.
Daxen started running, Jorin following up on him as they raced through the forest.
They came upon the clearing, finding a huge blast crater, and what remained from the outpost.
"Find the survivors.. ..huh? BARRUS!" Jorin caught glimpse of Barrus's hand sticking out of the ground. Jorin pulled the wounded leader from the soil, resuscitating him as Barrus coughed out dirt.
"Too late again, huh," Barrus attempted to stand up, but the gigantic 3rd degree burns on his leg said otherwise.
"I called for a medic squad, they should be he- Barrus?!" Daxen dropped the intercom, almost knocking Jorin over.
"What the Vog are you doing here?!" Daxen screamed.
"We both have the same reason, to keep this from happening," Barrus coughed again, this time, with a bit of blood.
"Stay put, I'll search for survivors," Jorin leapt to his feet, scanning the area for movement. Apart from the blazing fires, there wasn't many people who survived. He could make out what looked like a bunker, but found nothing more than dead, burning bodies.
He ran back, finding a medic squad, and a dumbfounded Remi. She was in awe of the explosion crater.
"Sir, we have found no survivors," The squad leader sighed of depression, looking back at the burning wasteland as someone readied an ice pack.
"Barrus, you're very lucky to survive at all," He said.
"Yeah, yeah, just how long will it take 'till I'm out of the hospital?" Barrus wrapped himself with his scarf. Given the fact he has third degree burns everywhere, anyone can question if he was cold.
- 3 Weeks later... -
Barrus was out of the hospital early, a gigantic bandage across the side of his face, and his tattered scarf hanging on one of his crutches.
"Don't push yourself," Remi said from her portion of the hall.
"Don't tell me what this guy can't do," Barrus sat down, squinting his eyes at Jorin as he sipped the coffee.
"Well, we know that the terrorism attack on the outpost wasn't an energy burst, there weren't dense concentrations of mist energy in the area," Jorin slanted his gaze at Daxen, who was trying to look like he was paying attention.
"A supply crate filled with Nitronomes was being transported through the middle of the outpost, someone was smart enough to detonate it at the right time, because the explosion's radius caught other crates at just the right radius," Remi leaned against the wall, Barrus glared at her.
"It was a synchronized explosion," Remi said to simplify it for the ones who prefer a shorter explanation.
"How did you crack this down?" Barrus limped over to her, giving her a look of pure curiosity.
"I know my bombs," Remi tossed herself a Blast Bomb, smiling playfully.
Daxen sighed heavily, spinning a Blaster on his ring finger.
"This Hall of Heroes thing really doesn't work so well," Daxen leered at Barrus.
"It's an idea that would replace the Alpha Squad," Barrus nearly slipped on a random piece of paper, "you know how that story went,"
"We know," They all said at once.
