im reely bad at lockdown my current equipment is mostly four star and i have crimson hammer but im afraid to use it cause ppl get mad when som1 uses it in Ld what equipment is good for strikers and recons cause those are the classes i play most i kno ill get better when i reach full 5 star but in tier 2 i got my [cog] handed to me to me even with all 3 star. so could u give me some advice and wht strategies shoud i use.
here is all the tier 3 equipment i have rite now

fiery atomizer
dark retribution
4 star skelly shield
seraphic mail
crimson hammer
also shud i use trinkets or not

If you can't do well in T2 with 3 star gear, you're going to do even more poorly in T3 without a 5 star kit. Stick to T1/T2, and pick up the basics there. When fighting someone who takes you down easily, pay attention to their gear and technique, and think of ways you could counter them next time.
Also, if your only five star weapon is your hammer, use it and ignore the complainers.

I'm serious. In t3 with your current loadout, you are going to get mauled unless you are ten kinds of pro, which by your own admission you are not. Trinkies have been made almost mandatory there, too, given the fact that you can now get Skolver strikers with +12 health dashing around in t3 like there's no tomorrow. They are pretty much juggernauts of pointy death which are kind of hard to stop.
Play lots of t2 Lockdown games. Get full Wolver, and invest in some kind of toothpick. You may also wish to get a hammer or appropriate starred Blaster/Pulsar/Alchemer.

+1 for going to T2.
T2 is a generally safer place to learn. Fights generally last longer, and I'd argue that more "different" equips can work (hai Arc Razor). That being said, Dusker/Toothpick is a safe place to start.
Try out all three classes, if you're just learning don't commit too hard to one until you've given them all some time.
Use trinkets if you can. In T2, you should pretty much only run heart pendants.
Learn to shield cancel. Pretty much the only tech skill in the game, and it makes a huge difference.

Some of the people in Lockdown have been playing for a long time, so don't expect to compete with them immediately (ever?). If a specific player keeps beating you, try to emulate their strategy. If they allow full inspect, look at their loadout between rounds and consider using those weapons or armor, or try to counter their loadout. Many players have UVs on their stuff, especially in T3.
The battles in T2 last longer than T3, but in either case, heart trinkets make a big difference. You will survive longer during each battle, which will give you more time to practice.
Use different statuses to your advantage. The most deadly statuses in Lockdown are freeze, shock, and stun. Get a gun or bomb that inflicts one of these statuses (Shivermist Buster in T3 is often useless, though). You can get easy kills by inflicting status on your opponent and attacking while they are vulnerable.
If you are 'below' your opponent on a map, you will be able to see your opponent before they can see you, simply due to the game's camera angle. Use this to your advantage.
