Sure thing! I'm trying something new, something which I'm not sure has been done before but which I hope will work well enough.

I'm opening 101 lottery slots, which you can buy into. Once all tickets are bought, I'll do a random drawing (livestreamed with a timestamp for verification) and award people their draws.

If this turns out to be successful, I'll do more of these in the future.

Good question! There are 101 slots to fill, which I think is pretty reasonable? If you don't like it, don't buy a ticket.

How can I trust you? This involves payment up-front, and I don't know how I feel about that.
Good question. I've been in the game for a little while, and you may or may not have heard of me, but there's no way I'm going to throw away my in-game reputation for 10k. If you want someone to vouch for me, let me know and I'm sure I can find someone you'll respect who'll tell you I'm not a scammer. I'm just an ordinary gal with a dream; a dream to do some ridiculous lottery thing that AFAIK hasn't been done before.

I'm also going to livestream the pick, using random.org - this will hopefully dispel any possibility of favouritism in awarding prizes. The livestream will also include footage of me mailing out the prizes; I don't want there to be any way that I could be accused of scamming here.

and, uh, when will you hold the draw?
The day after all slots are filled (or one week from today, on the 28th October) I'll livestream the draw at 11PM PST. If the end time arrives and not all slots are full, that just means you have a better chance of winning (and ought to get your buys in nice and early accordingly)!

Addendum: I've received a few questions about how the verification of picks will work. I'll try to explain it plainly here to allay any potential concerns. At 11PM PST the day after the lotto fills, I'll be Livestreaming with a built-in clock and date widget. The livestream will start at five minutes to eleven, and I'll take the pick at just after eleven. I'll use this random.org page to select fifteen integers from 1 to 101, which will correlate to prizes 1-15 reading horizontally left to right starting in the upper left corner, reading a line and then proceeding to the next line.

Once the draw has been spat out, I'll switch the target of the livestream to SK, where I'll log in and mail the prizes using the in-game mail system. I'll clearly show each prize in my inventory, my selecting it as an attachment to the mail, and my sending the mail. Thanks to Livestream, after I've done this (as well as during) this footage will be up online for verification that I did so. I'll also be taking several Steam Screenshots throughout the process as an added layer of verification.

Hopefully these measures will make sure people understand I'm doing this as a fun idea and not as a scam.

Hungran: if there are still open slots by the time the weekend rolls around, sure. I'm not too sure of the odds on that one, though! As it says above, if you decide to un-buy your slots that's perfectly alright, you'd just have to let me know. ah, but you're assuming I bought all of these things(at those prices). The only thing I paid anywhere close to your listed prize was probably the mirrored, the rest were either free or significantly cheaper.

Could I have maybe sold those things for that much? Perhaps. That would've been difficult, and I've never had much of a knack for maximizing the payout from the AH. Plus, fees. :/ And this was just plain fun!

I won't tell you what I paid for everything listed, but it was somewhere under 350k.

P.S. it was a graviton BOMB, not a CHARGE. I realize this works against me in the tally but I want you to know.

Oops, my mistake about the Graviton Bomb. Thought it was 3-star.

I don't think it really matters how much you paid for the items. Sold individually, you can probably get approximately those amounts for each item (more for Graviton Bomb). The raffle format allows you to 'sell' the stuff faster, but you could probably get a bit more selling in trade chat (for a much higher time cost).

Anyway, thanks for holding the raffle! It was fun! =)
