Gran Faust (eventually, only have Faust atm) Divine Avenger, and Final Flourish (Only have Grand Flourish atm, but i DID manage to test my luck and get a UV of Damage vs Fiend Very High)
This will pretty much cover every enemy type. I'm also running around in Volcanic Salamander gear with a Heater shield so I am fairly protected against Fire and I'm a Slime killing GOD.

I have a terminal case of indecision...

If I feel like several good rounds of mass destruction solo, I pack a Blast Bomb (Master Blast Bomb these days, but Super Blast Bomb is pretty good), Fiery Vaporizer Mk II (would be a Fiery Atomizer if I had that recipe), Crystal Bomb, and Khorovod. The Blast Bomb is there purely for soloing Trojans, because I was never good with things like not lagging in an arena during critical sword strikes.
If I'm going to play in a party and be bomb wizard, I pack a Crystal Bomb, Freezing Atomizer, either the Fiery Vaporizer Mk II for normal runs or the Graviton Bomb if we're going to the Royal Jelly Palace, and Khorovod. The Blast Bomb causes too much chaos, generally speaking, in most parties.
These days I've been playing with the various typed damage swords, so it's Silent Nightblade, Fireburst Brandish, Flourish, and a Cryotech Alchemer. I've yet to manage to solo a Trojan, and so I may sacrifice the utility of a gun for a Blast Bomb again, despite the resulting lack of long-distance range.

I'll have good resistance to every status except sleep from this with the right armor and pretty good coverage though lacking piercing protection but that isn't too much of a concern. I've fallen in love with the Charge Attack on the frost Brandish series.

Played just sword/bomb for a month. I really missed having a gun in certain situations though, most notably against groups of gun puppies, or on unfair levels where a gun is really required to unlock some secrets because there aren't any throwables around. The Silversix is a nice all-purpose gun for my needs (although probably a Master Blaster would do just fine as well, but since Antigua is paid for with tokens it's practically free).
Never liked the slow swords much so I'm holding off on making a Faust. I'll have to try it eventually though and I will, just later.
Once (most of) my stuff is 5* I'll probably add another bomb to my arsenal. Not decided yet on which one. The Nitronome looks like wacky fun though.

I'm aiming for Leviathan + Valiance with Owlite Shield and the Vog Cub set. It does everything I need it to do.
I'd also like to get a Gran Faust, a Dread Venom Striker, an Argent Peacemaker and a Hail Driver, not to mention a few Vaporizer-line bombs, but this is enough for now.

So far I have a Tempered Calibur and a Striker... yeah this might take a while. On the bright side, only one more Jelly King run and I can get my first Sealed Sword. In any case, I'm going to have the Vog Cub armor, might as well put it to good use.

ATM I've just entered Tier2
ATM I've just entered Tier2 and I still use a Shocking Edge + Frost Gun (at least they look good don't they? :-) )
My long-term aim for top levels is this set of swords and guns:
Acheron + Wild Hunting Blade + Divine Avenger OR Fang of Vog
Hail Driver + Sentenza
but it 'll probably change when there will be more bosses which probably will mean new special weapons from tokens

Yes, I have that many 5 star weapons.
I've found that in general I rely on the g faust and leviathan more than anything else. The cutter line leaves you far too vulnerable to attack in large mob situations. The g faust does too, but I'm used to it and at least you get the push back. Typically I use the fiery pepperbox and shivermist buster, but am experimenting with the argent peacemaker simply because standing still with the pepperbox line kind of bites sometimes. It leaves you opened up for attacks. The speed on the argent peacemaker is fantastic, but the stopping power and lack of elemental effect is disappointing.
The shivermist buster is simply for mob control, buys me time in danger rooms and gives me something to do if I am running with a bunch of other heavy hitters.

Plan is to get high attack speed on my three weapons, and add a piece of vog and a piece of nameless, and have max attack speed on all three
Prolly a grey owlite shield too, although a 4*/5* Swiftstrike would change everything
