I have the same trouble as
I have the same trouble as Khomie, after the update of GITM i cant play spiral from 2pm to 10:59 Pm (GMT -6) because i start to lag with 2 bars (i always have 3 bars every hour). :/ but i believe this only happen to steam users because most of my steam friends who play spiral too have lags around those hours. prolly i will try tomorrow Eltia Suggestion and see if i still have lag.

There is a big difference
There is a big difference between having one steady bar and having a jumping connection between 4 and one bar. So yeah you can live with the first one as you've some delay but that's it, the latter is a pain. Causing you to teleport every two seconds. Time for people to understand having one or two steady bar is not lagging, it's having a bad ping. Lag is a jumpy ping...And it's not something you can live with, teleporting is unpredictible and not controlable, so no. I happen to have some lags these days too. I dunno why, didn't use to.

It's not just you. I'm also in Canada with a 10 MB/s connection (WAY more than enough to play online games, watch Youtube etc.) without problems but it seems SK is the only game that just absolutely HATES my connection. This is what SK is like for me 100% of the time now.
Before Ghosts in the Machine came out, I rarely ever had lag problems, now it's unplayable.
I gave up on trying to to get the game to work, I've bought a new router, forwarded SK's correct ports, added firewall exceptions for Java, I run ONLY Java 7 64-bit as it substantially boosts performance not only in SK, but Minecraft as well. Not to mention running only 1 version of JRE (for me) is way better than running 2 versions or more. I've also tried using multiple proxy services to see if it was something in between me and the servers but if anything the proxies made SK lag WORSE. I could go on all day with the list of tweaks/changes I've made with my ISP and my computer yet the lag in SK is still just as bad as it is in the video.
I don't know what happened to the game's network coding, but like I said, ever since the release of the Ghosts in the Machine danger mission, the game is unplayable to me. So I am giving up on SK until something is done about it or the devs reply with some sort of troubleshooting step I haven't done, but I highly doubt they can come up with something I haven't tried yet.
