I was thinking... I honestly put like no thought into the whole blackmail stuff... I'm really just trying to finish this up as fast as I can... but I really have writer's block... Maybe this fanfic won't be as long as I had thought it would be.
[FANFIC] War {Chapters Prologue-XIX Out} Chapters Eighteen and Nineteen. Two New Chapters!
Infiltration!
Grimace and Fleur hiked up a moderately sized hill. Once at the top of it, they could see the knight town of Haven in the distance.
*^*^*
The pair marched up to Haven's gates and called out to greet the gate guardians. One of the gate guardians immediately noticed the ghostmane symbol on Grimace's garbs and began speaking soon after.
"State your business... ghostmane. This is a war zone. Have you brought reinforcements?"
Grimace stepped forward. "No, my good sir, I have not brought reinforcements. In fact, I intend to take leadership over the gremlin race by killing King Tinkinzar, Herex... and you."
Grimace quickly whipped out his Sentenza and Argent Peacemaker and shot both Gate Guardians at the same time. He walked past their quivering bodies and coolly kicked open the gate. The sight of Grimace happily holding his guns in the air as he walked into the town was one to watch with fear.
"I demand to speak with the management at this joint!" Grimace called. He then whispered into his com unit, which was already set up to talk to Fleur, "Cloak. Get behind Herex when he's ready to talk. As soon as I'm finished speaking with him, kill him."
He heard Fleur respond, "Yes sir."
Two gremlin thwackers came out of an alleyway to subdue Grimace. Two Sentenza shots shut them up.
A gruff voice shouted to Grimace, "Your skill with a gun is better than most ghostmanes. Those two thwackers were some of the best in my squadron."
The voice proved to be that of Herex. The heavyweight pyromaniac wore his usual clothing; a light green jumpsuit with a name tag on it. The back of the jumpsuit bore the logo of the Gremlin Scorcher Class; a ring of fire with a pair of goggles in the center of it. Herex came out dual-wielding flamethrowers. A heavy filtered gas container was connected to the flamethrowers, and in turn two strong straps held the container onto Herex's back.
A pair of gremlin incinerators and several thwackers followed the Whispering Venom.
Flattery always got to Grimace. He grinned. "Learned from the best."
Herex showed a face of worry for a quick second, then hurriedly contained his emotions. "You don't mean Zoro, do you?"
"Only the Shadowmaster is better than me at killing," Grimace smiled.
The worried face returned upon Herex's face. This time it lasted for a few more seconds before it left. "Am I... Am I on his kill list?"
"I think you already know the answer to that," Grimace responded. He knew the ways of deceit, and he thought he'd have a bit of fun. "Don't even think about trying to kill me. I'm not the only ghostmane here. Don't you just wish you could cloak like us? Face it Herex, you're done for. I have you surrounded."
A group of thwackers and one scorcher came out from a different alleyway than the other thwackers had come before. They brandished weapons and seemed to be coming to attack Grimace. Grimace aimed his Sentenza and Argent Peacemaker at them, and fired 6 shots from each gun, easily vanquishing the would-be attackers.
Grimace looked Herex directly in the eye. "You sent those 'opponents' after me, no doubt. Are we done here?"
"I- I am the Whispering Venom! None threaten me! Incinerators, attack! Thwackers, defend me!" Herex shouted.
Fleur jumped onto Herex's gas tank and drove his Flourish through the back of Herex's head. The Whispering Venom fell down to the dirty ground, several poison vials exploding as his body crushed all the items in the pouches of his jumpsuit. The noxious gas released when the poison vials broke reached the noses of the thwackers that had been defending Herex, and they died.
But Fleur had already hurried away as soon as he had killed Herex. Grimace cloaked and the two ghostmanes rushed away from the sight. Their job was finished. As soon as they ran through the Haven gates, Grimace pulled out his com unit and called in to Phoryn.
As soon as Phoryn answered the call, Grimace said into the com unit, "Listen up. There's a poisonous gas in Haven spreading around right now. Get out of there. Meet Fleur and I at the farthest hill out of Haven, southwest side."
Phoryn's voice responded, "What about Her-"
"Herex is dead, you incompetent fool," Grimace cut him off. "Just get here, Zoro will want to hear the news that Haven and Herex's squadron are finished."
The story, all in all, was quite well written and entertaing to read.
Keep up the good work Artistbma!
Well.
That was interesting.

TWD
A red mist crept into the Spiral Order Campsite. The smell of burnt metal began to take over the air. Great gusts of wind rattled all the tents. Andrew left his tent to investigate. Everyone in the camp was dead except for him. A lone flare was flickering at the edge of the camp. Andrew ran over to the flare, which had a letter next to it. He picked up the letter and fell backwards after reading the simple inscription on it. The slip of paper floated to the ground and in the flare's light was easily visible.

A metal soldier stepped out from the shadows.
"Andrew," Noah croaked. "You failed me."
A Spirilian wearing a Skolver pelt came forth.
"Andrew," Damien whispered. "You failed me."
A woman with a vitapod on her back walked over to them.
"Andrew," Jane cried. "You failed me."
A bomber with a gaping hole in his chest stepped out of the darkness.
"Andrew," Fred yelled. "You failed me!"
Feron and Ozlo came from the forest.
"Andrew," they shouted. "You failed us!"
They all began shouting, "You failed us! You failed us!"
Andrew fell to his knees.
"Stop!" he sobbed. "Leave me alone! I did what I did for the greater good!"
Fred cackled, "The greater good means killing off your friends?! You're a murderer!"
"A mass-murderer!" Jane agreed.
All the corpses of the knights in the camp rose and began to crowd around Andrew.
"You killed us, Andrew! You killed us!" they screamed in unison.
They all drew their weapons and advanced altogether on Andrew. They all began to pile on top of him, calling him a murderer and a traitor. The red mist disappeared and the flare went out. All was darkness. All was pitch black.
Then Andrew awoke and saw a gremlin in neon green and black attire standing next to his bed. A stave with a glowing green crystal at the top was in its furry hand. Andrew was about to scream out when the gremlin poured a strange liquid down his throat.
"Go to sleep now, Andrew. Go to sleep..." it whispered.
Andrew felt dizzy and went unconscious.
THATS RIGHT! NEW CHAPTER!
I'm a Licensed Psychic
"Shadowmaster, Ozlo is dead," Lineous stated.
"Dead?!" Zoro scoffed. "I thought I clearly said that I wanted him alive."
"I did not kill him, Shadowmaster. The Spiral Order is apparently divided into a Civil War and Ozlo was killed in the midst of it," Lineous explained. "However, I did bring you a Spiral Order Leader... one that I think you'll be interested to meet."
Lineous unzipped the body bag he had been keeping the formerly unconscious Andrew in. Andrew immediately recognized Lineous as the gremlin in the neon green and black clothing that had kidnapped him.
"You... You're supposed to be dead," Zoro growled.
"I like to defy the odds," Andrew said. He flashed a fake smile.
"I would kill you right now, but I need a Spiral Order Leader for questioning," Zoro continued. "May the questioning begin. What are your plans for war?"
Andrew replied, "Why would I answer that?"
"Because..." Zoro started. "This."
Lineous stepped forward and jabbed his stave into Andrew's back. A bolt of lightning shot from the stave and electrocuted Andrew.
"AGGGGHHHH!" Andrew cried out.
Zoro's cold eyes showed no sign of mercy. "Again."
Lineous repeated what he had done before.
"How... What... How... How did he do that...?" Andrew struggled to say. "...M-M-Magic?"
"Magic! Hahaha! Magic!" Zoro snickered. "No, not magic. PAD. Psychic Air Distortion. You see, I have a very smart gremlin engineer working for me who more than just dabbles in the study of manipulation of nature and the mind. Orion, care to explain this little project to our guest?"
For the first time, Andrew noticed a scrawny gremlin standing in the corner of the room.
"Hello Andrew, my name is Orion. I was born on Mount Krampus, one of the Northern Mountains, in the middle of the-" Orion began.
"Enough with your introduction!" Zoro snapped.
"Yes Shadowmaster, of course Shadowmaster," Orion apologized. "To the point. PAD works almost like magic. Lineous, if you would take off your hood for a minute or two..."
Lineous drew back his hood, revealing glowing blue metal stakes in intervals around his head.
"Yes, thank you Lineous," Orion said. "You see, Andrew, these stakes in Lineous's head are connected to wires that are connected to the brain stem. This causes all actions Lineous attempts to pass through the wires as they go down to their specified part of the body. Just this allows for a strict monitoring of the brain, you see. The stakes are actually memory cards that can hold a huge load of data. Everything Lineous does is recorded into these stakes. All one has to do to view these records is to take out the power drive in the back of Lineous's neck."
He pointed to a black square box implanted in Lineous's neck.
"Now, I thought that I could take this even further, and edit these stakes to be able to record the air just outside Lineous's own body," Orion explained. "I devised a way for this to work, but I was not done there. I edited the stakes to be able to manipulate the air around Lineous's body, using a hyphae-like structure that invades the air and changes its properties. This allows for many possibilities. However, the gremlin brain barely allows for the type of stress it was already being put through at that point. So I had to create Lineous's stave, which channels the hyphae-like structures into massive amounts. These hyphae-like structures tap into the power of electrons in the air, and pull them together, creating the lightning you have seen already."
Andrew blinked his eyes. "Even though I didn't understand half of that... That sounds genius."
Lineous pulled his hood back over his head.
Zoro butted in, "Alright, now that you understand just why you're feeling the pain you're feeling, let's get back to those questions. What are your plans for war?"
"Zoro, I can't answer that. Torture time?" Andrew asked.
"Again," Zoro looked at Lineous.
"Torture time," Andrew said to himself.
This thread looked like it could use a friendly bump.
Hi, there, the treasure vault is pretty dead in the past few months, not many people are around anymore.
I'm still here, lurking as usual.
Still working on the story?

I always knew there were only a little bit of people still actually reading.
But I will keep with the fanfic, for those who do read, no matter how slowly I do it.
