Below are steps to replicate what I refer to as quick-switching loadouts (or arbitrary equipment). The difference between this "quick-switching" and switching loadouts normally is that the switching animation (the same animation seen looping in the Ready Room, while Trading, etc.) does not appear. This leads to an instant loadout switch, which has many uses, include creeping people out in Haven, and...that's about it ._.
I've chosen to place this potential glitch in General rather than Bug Reports since it's a harmless (and potentially lulzy) glitch, on the level of stair-sliding. I'd be happy to move the thread if so desired.
Steps:
- Set keybindings. It is necessary to have keybindings for Loadouts and Inventory, Strafe is optional. I've set Loadouts to "L", Inventory to "I", and Strafe to the spacebar.
- Open Loadouts by pressing L. Note that loadouts are represented by pill-shaped things, with small gaps between them. Line up your mouse over one of the pills. If you have Strafe bound, now is a good time to lock the direction that you're facing; I hold spacebar throughout the entire process from here til step 4, at which point you may move your mouse freely. If your mouse is in a correct location, you should see a description of the loadout, as seen here. If you've (incorrectly) positioned your mouse in a gap between loadouts, you will not see a description, as seen here.
- Close the loadout tab, then reopen it without moving your mouse. (Note that this is why a keybind is required, rather than clicking the icon). If done correctly, you should again see a description of a loadout. If there's no such description, return to the previous step and try again.
- Open the Inventory without moving your mouse.
- Start switching loadouts! Note that you may walk around, change the direction you're facing, etc. and still be able to quick-switch, as long as the same Loadouts and Inventory tabs remain open.
Note that these steps may also be preformed switching all instances of "Loadouts" with "Inventory"; this allows you to arbitrarily switch gear without the animation. If you correctly placed your mouse in the inventory, you should see something like this after you've opened Inventory, then Loadouts.

Easier method. Open Loadouts with mouse. Go to Inventory button and hover over it until it shows 'Arsenal' in gold letters. Click and open Arsenal. Return to Loadouts. Switch.
