This happened a while ago, when I was in FSC. My internet card flipped out and didn't want to connect to the internet anymore. I snapped several pictures, showing that I couldn't interact with anything in the map.

Tell me what you think, and if you had this happen to you, go ahead and tell about it/show us. This is an odd phenomenon, indeed! :P

(This isn't a bug report because this was something that happened entirely on my side of things.)

That's pretty much the expected behavior.
