This has to stop. It's because of people like this who posted the enormous wall that the CE price goes higher even faster, let alone idiots who aren't patient enough to wait for their offer to be accepted.

So my suggestion is to limit the number of offers one account can do. Only allowing up to 10-20 CE offers at the same time. Should be good enough to beat the "economic overlords" from pushing around the market.

Well?

NO.

How about adding a search for prices bar, and a scroll bar.

Heck adding filters.

This idea is so simple and helpful, that it seems stupid for it to be ommited.

Just saying.

Also, you can trade between alts.

People are creative, that's one of our strong points.

Well, people that pay can practically make unlimited accounts and laugh at any account-specific limit.

Both ideas don't make any sense to me, mind to explain? Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that fix the biggest problems.

How could anyone be autistic enough to do that? You really think a person would make 50 accounts just to try to manipulate the CE as much as whoever did it on the pic?

Lick Number 58425

Do you also see the 726 offers to sell CE in an attempt to stop the price from raising? The CE market is a free market completely controlled by the community, and it should stay that way.

Yeah, you'd be surprised where people get their kicks. And how far they'd go to get them.

But considering the amount of newer players who just press 'Buy now', walls of that size shouldn't be too much of a problem. Unless I'm in a hurry, I just post below and log.

That's not the point. The point is that the whole economy can be manipulated far too easily, as you can see on the pic.

I doubt there would a lot of people who would bother to do such work though.

I don't.

I've seen them @.@ (Kind of at least. The potential's there anyway, and fairly easy. S'logical they would.)

Excuse me?

What does autism have to do with this? Please reconsider your words.

I would believe it is used in the same context as 'retard' in this case. Either that, or considering an autistic person's tendency to repeat the same action continuously over a period of time.

Like rocking back and forth.

A good thought but...

I understand where you're getting at. When I first started playing, I was able to survive off of my energy that regenerated alone and by the time i was done, i was able to buy some CE and have some crowns left over. Now, (unless i want to pay cash) buying CE takes me more than a day simply because once i run out of my own energy, I can no longer afford another helping of it because the price has gone up too high. Is the market being manipulated by this? Maybe but not enough to cause too much of a stir. People will simply have to work harder to get the mats and energy they need to craft. It's a good thought really but it's just that it really can't be helped considering it's a free market.

If anything as a suggestion for adding something into the game itself rather than enforcing a limit, maybe adding the option of selling 20CE for 3k crowns or 50CE for a smaller price compared to 100CE would work. It's not uncommon for someone to need just a tiny bit of energy for crafting something but they don't want to spend 9000 crowns for the 30CE that they need if it means they will have to hunt for more crowns in return.

btw just use the word "retard" instead of "autism". It would offend a smaller crowd of people.

Price walls sucks

I think that a canceling fee should at least make the price walls less common, something like if you cancel you lose 10% of crowns/ce depending on which side you put your offer. Taking away offers to buy would be another solution but that one would still cause problems as people could make walls for CE to go down but not to go up and balance things.
