1.Is jelly armor set any good?(2*) Comparing to the colbalt set that you get from the rank 4 missions, which one is better?
2.Trojan knight in the 3-2(4) mission( blades of the fallen ) almost scared my pants off when i encountered it for the 1st time( 3 bar of the health per hit, ouch). Is there any possible tactics for noobs like me(2* cutter and autogun is my weapon of choice) to beat that monstrosity?
3.All 3* weapons needs 200 mist to craft( how can i store that much mist????), does this mean i have to purchase 100 crystal(with 9K cr) and combine with the mist in my tank(100 mist) to craft a 3* weapon??
4.Should i train my gear up( with heat ) before i take on the rank3-2(4) mission( blades of the fallen) by doing past rank missions or the mission in the arcade?
some noob questions
1) It's better than cobalt (it has a status resist, and the reduced normal defence is unnoticeable), but still bad. Get Wolver if you plan to use swords at all. Or, if you plan to go heavily into gunning, just use your default Cobalt until you can afford to buy a Gunslinger set (it's 3*, so somewhat expensive).
Raisinfist has the others covered.
Yes, you need 100 CE and 100 ME to make a 3-star item. But consider these alternatives:
* Buy 3-star items from the Auction House, rather than crafting them yourself. You can often get them for around 15,000 crowns. In contrast, the total cost of making a 2-star item and then upgrading it to 3-star is around 28,900 crowns. (This counts ME as precious, and assumes that you have to buy the recipes, but ignores the cost of materials. It also assumes that you aren't particularly hunting for UVs.)
* Soon you will want to be spending your ME to earn more money, not to craft (assuming that you have time to play). For example, once you have access to the Sovereign Slime mission, you can spend 100 ME, do the first two levels of the Royal Jelly Palace 5 times, earn over 10,000 crowns, spend most of that on 100 CE, and repeat. Using this positive feedback loop, you can play forever and slowly get richer. Later in the game, when you have access to King of Ashes (FSC), it gets even better. So do not ignore the value of ME, and do not get depressed when you see the crafting costs for 4- and 5-star items.
and do not get depressed when you see the crafting costs for 4- and 5-star items.
I still get depressed when I see the costs.
"and do not get depressed when you see the crafting costs for 4- and 5-star items."
"I still get depressed when I see the costs."
Ye're staring at the CE market, not the crafting requirements.
Oh no, I'm staring at that 800 D:
I'm a scummy peasant and spend all my cr in LD, 800 ce is heartbreakin' to me~

Stop looking at the CE requirement for crafting.
Had if I got the time travel chance, I would have gotten 100 ce worth of 3400 cr exchange each.
Then, all I need is just 27200 or more crowns to get a 5*.
Ugh. Time flies. Within a blink of an eye.
Even when CE cost 4k I still thought "god, I need to get 8 of these?"
Know how long it too me to 5* my first stuff?! D:
DO YOU!?!
/cry
If only I work harder on the arcade, I would have gotten things easily. :o
FSC for only 4~5 runs to get a single 5*. ;3c
I finished JK but not Hall of heroes due to the fact that i only have like 1k( I have only 1 3* thingy why is life so mean to me?). At least me got lockbox =D
And I keep clicking on the offers that are like 9k for 45x100. and I can't buy it....... Why???????
/sob....sob....whimper......sob.
1. Jelly armour is only useful as a specialized set. It has lees normal defence than Cobalt, and everything does at least part-Normal damage until T3. So, the Jelly line is only useful in T3 for Pierce specialists.
2. 1. Go with a party.
- - 2. Get a Flourish. If not, your best current weapon is the Cutter.
- - 3. Hit his back! To do this in a party, someone gets his aggro and someone else goes behind him and whacks him. If you're solo, lure him into smashing, run sideways to not get hit, then run around him to get him fast.
3. Yes, you need 100CE. Karma for realizing you can use Mist as well.
4. Not really worth it, unless you chargespam like crazy. The damage/defence is barely noticeable, and the +xxx health bonus doesn't affect you too much. In other words, don't do it, but if you do, go find somewhere in the Arcade (Undead is pretty good for this). Also, try the Gloaming Wildwoods.
