Got bored, holidays are here, nothing to do but play.. hey let's make a Fan fiction

Gremlin Logs would serve as a back story of the gremlins. Put it simple, it would take the point of view of a gremlin, before, during, and after Spiral Knights came to Cradle.

Who know how the gremlins lived before spiral knights came, and why they chose to attack us, or why some even chose to greet us with goods and services. Well, Gremlin Logs have been found over Cradle, left by an unknown gremlin, telling us the sequence of events that led to how spiral knights is today. :3

I decided to put this story through a one point perspective, meaning it is seemed that only one person is telling the story, and that is our favorite gremlin :S

I am not a good writer, but I will try to take this as an opportunity to try.

We were once a modern civilization, where gremlins live together in peace and prosperity. Gremlins were the only intelligent and sentient beings on this planet itself at that time, living as one colony together with huge cities that tower over mountains. The streets were bustling with commuters, travelling from one end to the other. Of course, that’s all I could have ever remembered. Smiling faces everywhere, people chatting among themselves. The lovely days, I wish they come back.

By the time I was old enough for work, our previous king seems wanting to expand our settlement on this planet we named Cradle. There was nowhere else to go, but below. That was then we discovered the vast network of machinery, moving about in the huge void. These, clockworks, are primarily responsible for the different types of structures that exist in each depth level. There was no knowing of what exactly exists in the depths of this world.

(I'm just doing this for fun, because I want to add to your story too!)

Writer: Took'sal

Broke my arm from falling from the Deconstruction Zone today. If we didn't have the big guy in the core, I wouldn't know what might've happened to me. Under the watch of Rik'nay, the healer, my arm looks like it will get fixed within the hour. I was planning to ask him for a chance at courting; I highly doubt it with my clumsiness.

On the business side today, we just deconstructed a whole floor of the Clockworks. It was very dangerous, considering that we have yet to establish any regulations or equipment on this part of Cradle. It looks like we're going to re-purpose this floor for another town: Emberlight.

The big floating slabs of the ‘artificial worlds’ are all separated far away from each other, therefore our engineers have devised an elaborate network of elevators that connect each floor together. I was no more than a construction worker, and we were based at a local town named Haven. Of course, we started from there, digging through rock layer by layer, then we set up the foundation for our elevators. With our technology, work is done in no time.

There were many difficulties in accomplishing our objectives, namely areas inhabited by other species, such as the fiends and the jelly. This was soon resolved by setting a truce in the name of our king, so that we can connect all the levels with our elevator network. However, i always dreaded the fiends and the undead. Their dark rituals and black magic has always scared me till all my fur stood out. I always make sure I stayed far away from them.
