Spiral Knights easter Egg? :P

I didn't know if theres some other place to put this, so sorry if this isn't the thread for it, but, is this a Spiral Knights Easter egg in Borderlands 2, it just reminded me of SK and he is smaller then the others like that inter game trading pic on steam...

How is that in any way Spiral Knights related?
As for using Spiral Knights models in SFM, good luck with that. Spiral Knights models use Clyde, which as far as I know was developed specifically for Spiral Knights and isn't compatible with SFM.

@Oatmonster It resembles the fast-talking guy from the mission system. Name escapes me atm, but I doubt BL2 has anything to deal with SK to even toss in an Easter egg.
