Is there any easier way to find a shadow lair party other than searching through havens? or can I use this thread to find one?
Finding a Shadow Lair Party
I'm interested in doing the Rabid Snarbolax Shadow Lair
I haven't done a shadow lair before but I've watched playthroughs on youtube so I know what I should expect.
This is the equipment I plan on using:
Armor: Skolver Set both with Poison High UV's
Shield: Crest of Almire with Med Shadow resistance UV for the first two levels then Barbarous Thorn Shield for the boss and probably the Unknown Passage
Weapons: Shivermist Buster, Warmaster Rocket Hammer, Polaris, Barbarous Thorn Blade
Trinkets: 2x Dread Skelly Charm
Also I have 3050 CE = 1600 for crafting the Snarby Set
450 towards buying a shadow key
1000 for revives (just in case)
How's that?
You're doing well on equipment. Do you have any friends in a comparable position? I don't recommend going into a Shadow Lair with a random party. You want to know and trust your teammates --- their gear, their skill, their willingness to pay you back their shares of the key cost, their unwillingness to leave the party to eat a pizza, etc. People do some pretty irritating things in parties, and the key cost is so high that you're not going to want such irritation.
Unfortunately the only people I trust have already done it so I will probably have to wait a while for anyone to do it again which means I'll have to waste money on more weapon and trinket slots since it won't likely be in the next 3-4 days or so.
Join a prominent guild, which often does SL runs, even DAILY.
I assume you're trying to look for people doing a Shadow Lair run. Honestly, most people only take people they know, trust, or know people who are pro at it. So to answer your question, there really isn't an "easy" way other than to advertise yourself on the Trade channel or something like that.
Unless you're looking for help I don't really think you'll find anyone willing to take you along without some questions: What is your Shadow Lair clearance? What is your equipment? Things like that.
