a lot of people from my point of view like racing games (i'm assuming) it could make the events more useful and somehow tie together with paying real money for vehicle upgrades modifications and etc.

i was into
i was into Racing games but then i got violent and started playing war games :)
now i just got Spiral Knights and BF3 =3
to make race game more into the Spiral Knight stuff...... add weapons on top of the karts. you can drop bombs when your in the lead. Shoot other cars out of the way, etc. WASD to drive and mouse'n'click to aim/shoot. You can hover karts and rover looking carts
thats my thoughts on the matter.

love the idea
race cvars were sugest long time ago, im not gonna look for the post. the pvp racing games seem like a good idea, adding weapons and vehicle upgrades would be really nice. i dont see how this would ruin the theme of the game when sk is base on sci-fi, so having advance cars that cannot fly but be able to hover off the ground would be awsome.

my apologies and thank you Blandaxt for you and other Spiral knights for supporting this thread. :)
It's way too different from the game itself.
In order to be a decent racing game it'd require far more work and new mechanics than what you would expect from a MINI-game.
