is the new traning hall for the guild, is there pvp allowed or is it just like the training hall we have now?
about the fee, is there a way to have it stack up like an iou. for a duration of 1 to 2 weeks
The guild training hall is PVE only, with a target shooting range, sandbags to show how much damage you deal to each monster family, and some respawning shufflebots. It comes with variants for all three tiers.
its so expensive everything!
u can tell they made this for the 5 star guys with millions of cr.... i am not one of them :(
If your guild has 10 committed members, just have them each dump the profits from 1 vana run into the guild treasury per week. That isn't asking too much, and will allow you to accumulate 75kcr/week. My guild can easily do that, but I think we are going to be content living in a 1 story building (or secretly living in someone else's guild hall).
What exactly happens when you're unable to pay the upkeep? Both my guildmaster & I are curious & we refuse to upgrade the GH until we know everything.

However, we both believe that the point of Upkeep is a "crown sink" which will take cr's out of the market & hopefully will reduce the prices of CE... but then again, virtual economies don't always follow the rules of supply/demand & inflation/deflation. Theoretically, with less cr's in the system... each remaining cr should be worth more.
Do furnishings increase the upkeep at all?
And 1 more question, is it possible to remove extra rooms? Most guilds are building like manics, and I assume they will crumble eventually... so removing upkeep costs would help.
60k isn't really alot if the entire guild pitches in. Even if you have 100 unique (no bots or alts) ppl, that's only 600crowns per person. But yea, ppl are greedy and non supportive usually & will probably just let the GM cover the costs.
If you wanted the admin answer, you should have checked the thread the admins started for this update since they are responding there.
You lose the rooms that you didn't pay for. Any special rooms that require a certain level also can't be placed (as far as I can if you don't have a second floor you can't have an AH). Anything you bought (say a chair) gets placed back into your guild treasury.
the thread that they posted is non-reply'able. At least the one I found:

it is stickied at the top of this forum.
yea, still not seeing it.... can you just post the url instead of giving me the workaround?
could we get back to the main question pls?
what happens if you can´t afford the weekly guildhall fee?
They said it several times.

I asked someone in Unity's Guildhall how much the upkeep costs for their guildhall and it was 400K CROWNS! I think :S Go to it sometime, it's great! I think it has a training hall. Impervious is good, too :D
When a guild cannot pay its upkeep and goes into default, two doors will appear on the entrances to the 1st Floor East and 1st Floor West expansions (if applicable). These doors prevent the guild from accessing everything but their lobby and Command Console, effectively making it like a base guild hall.
No upgrades, furnishings, expansions or rooms are removed. However, the guild is penalized with a fee of 200% of the upkeep that was owed at the time of default. Once this fee is paid by depositing enough crowns into the Treasury, the two doors that appeared at the time of default will be removed and the guild will have begun their upkeep cycle again, with a new week beginning at the time they left default. The guild then has another week before standard upkeep costs are owed once more.
A guild may remain in default for as long as it chooses, with no additional penalties or costs accrued.
While in default a guild may also not add new guild members.
Dis, do you realise that Mumalot posted a link to the post Nick made saying all of that?
Its a cash grab..
Well basically to keep the same amount of space we always had for the past 2 years (all 8 rooms) ... it cost's around 50,000cr every 6 days to keep
250,000cr per month...
3,000,000cr per year...
