i saw a few people ask this in another post but i didnt see an answer, if we rank up before the 20th, will we get the next tier gift for the event? would it replace the one we have already received?
question about the event
id prefer if they let it upgrade, yeah u could grind them out to get it, but it would cost the person quite a bit to do so..
but it would be nice for the new recruits a chance to upgrade their weapon and for the people who have a few missions left (like me) some incentive to finish
but oh well :/ they looked pretty cool too
You get teh reward based on your current rank as it is; it's not meant to be grinded and upgraded, just awarded based on how far along you already are.
Just be thankful it caps at Vanguard instead of 45k pres~
i dont care where the cap is, im just saying it seems dumb to give a weapon that people wont use, if its meant to be shown off as a reward should u be able to upgrade that to the best of ur ability? i wouldnt care if they said "hey u have til november 20th to try and earn this awesome sword and shield" instead of "heres a sword u wont use, and oh hey theres a 5* version but u cant have it ever cuz u didnt play the missions"
if they gave us time to improve it, all would be fine, but since they didnt warn us, its kinda bull, cuz many people could have gotten to vanguard, without grinding it cuz they are that close
I see a glaring logical fallacy on your part:
Where do you get the notion that people won't use this? I, for one, plan on using this for the mask phases in FSC as one would a Levi since it's just a dang reskin and now I don't have to craft my own Levi.
Y'know what? I prefer it this way and I'll tell you why: this way, it's based on what people have already accomplished. There's no cheapening of that accomplishment by having people in the Honor category who rushed and bought CE out the wazoo so they could get to Rank 10 before the 20th. It ensures that the people who have the Honor gear are the people who are actually worthy of having that gear because they got to Vanguard for purposes other than getting free Levi and Aegis reskins. And hey, guess what? Featured Auctions. These things always show up there. So no need for the butthurt.
"if they gave us time to improve it, all would be fine, but since they didnt warn us, its kinda bull, cuz many people could have gotten to vanguard, without grinding it cuz they are that close"
If they did that, there'd be no point in them being 'special'. They may as well have just sold a 'reskin upgrade' at the AH or something.
@ubernerd oh, so u plan on using the 4* on vana? no, ur going to use the 5*
people who got the 5* say it should stay the way it is. why? cuz u got it and u could care less if others got it.
and people who didnt get it are going to complain, it sucks that we cant upgrade it, or even have a chance to upgrade it..
it really sucks for the people who are close to getting it and dont even need to grind out all the missions, but to be fair, would anyone really care if someone spent money on a ton of CE to grind out what they needed before the 20th? no, it doesnt affect anyone else at all..
all im saying is a warning prior to the actual event would have been nice so people at least had a chance to get the gear
@psycho, how wouldnt it? there would always be people who wouldnt have it, even if they did announce it a little in advance, just gives people interested in it a chance
Now you're just being rediculous. You're getting free stuff, and you're asking why it couldn't be better. Did I mention that it was FREE?
better? the better is already there.. all im asking (and im not the only one) is to have a chance at what everyone else was able to get
and seriously, how is wanting something to be fair ridiculous?
Right now someone would bring in communism, but lemme just say: I don't want to go there.
No, you won't. Quite frankly, I'm happy they made it that way. This way, people won't just grind out the missions for the sake of getting the rewards. You get the rewards based on what you did and had, unlike their terrible Shard Bomb compensation.
