Can someone else please confirm that the lionheart does a substantially less damage then the levi. I can understand why it would do less damage as this is a free item, but if you are going to give people a weak weapon (my polaris does around the same damage even when the shot does not expand) then why not give people costumes that they will use. This is not a rant, I am just wondering why it does such low damage (lvl 1 lionheart does around 130 first swing on a slag at fsc floor 1).

I didn't even used it yet, but I'm guessing you didn't compare both with the same heat and Damage Bonus, did you ?
Those are BIG factors for the damage output. I'll be telling a definitive answer once mine will be level 10.

Aye, as far as I'm aware it's just a total reskin, like the Scissor Blade. While I was heating it I was using my CiV and the Lionhearts damage against non-undeads was higher than CiV, as Levi's is, so I can't see it being any weaker. Eitehr that or it is weaker but to a worthlessly small degree~

Have not tested fully heated
But I did test with another person using a levi blade at lvl 1, he was able to consistently more damage them me. Now all of this might just be on my side for now, because my guild mates do seem to like it. I will keep trying to get it to lvl 10, until then most of this is speculation until someone can prove otherwise, thanks for your help.

Then this is most likely me, I do not use trinkets (I prefer a more challenging game), I just use full vog with no UVs. Might I ask what is what is you normal first swing damage against a slag, because that is my baseline for testing. I might be completely wrong here and probably just seeing things, if so I will just graveyard this thread.

You can just look this stuff up. According to the wiki page "Leviathan Blade", that sword does 193 damage on its first swing, at depth 24, at heat level 10. My advice: Wait until heat level 10. Run the test again. If it still disagrees with Levi, then please tell us.

My mistake
It seems one of my guild mates has a lvl 10 lionheart and it does the same as a levi, so for all the confusion and thanks for your help. I will graveyard this thread now.
