what equipment is required to become immune to the "moderate" shock of storm driver?

I believe that altought it's imppossible to null a status, you do become less likely to get affected.

And just btw, for guardians only med+max (or high+high i suppose) is needed for immunity to status bombs.

You'll notice with sets

You'll notice with sets such as Mad Bomber, that you tend to get inflicted from the first hit of things, whereas trying to Hail Driver a Skolver takes noticeably longer than, say, a Vog.
I'm pretty sure testing has shown that even with 20 points of status resistance (natural double max armor, double max UVs, double trinks), you can't gain immunity. I could be wrong though.
