Argghh...... I am still not sure if this belongs to the Technical Problems section or here...but whatever.

I noticed that the lag and latency increased very much last months , I remember that I had a less speed of internet before ( Around November 2011 ) and still I didn't have this amount of disconnections and high ping. I am aware that GH update increased the amount of players which increases the lag , but come on , is there is no way to have a good experience in this game ;_; ?

I am saying this , because these high ping and lagging only happens to me in SK , I don't lag in other games online D: , heck even WoW I don't lag in .

What do you want from this thread ?

If you know anyway ANYWAY to have a better experience please write in the comments , because SK is turning to be unplayable ;_;

Have had a few discussions of late about people finding the game laggier with each update. I've not been having too much trouble with it outside LD, though and even then I tend to only get bad latency on US server~

I used to get 2-3 bars on EU

I used to get 2-3 bars on EU server ( Never go to US O_o , such a nightmare there ) , but as you said , with every update the connection gets worse. I am getting 1 bar most of times since the...Stupi... GH update and 2 bars very rarely :/

Update is meant to improve the quality of the game not downgrade it :(

I don't understand my Lag

I don't understand my Lag problem. I went to bed one night, not a single problem, Woke up the Next morning to do some rank mission, and the lag is out of control. It occurs randomly, either as soon as I hit the clockworks, or a few minutes into it, But my network meter at the top right goes from 4 white bars to a single Red bar, i was watching my cpu usage on my dual monitor while it happened and nothing changed, I had cmd opened with Ping www.google.com -t, and it starts timing out. Everything on my network just lags out. I had netflix going on my tv in the other room and it dropped out. If I alt tab from Spiral knights, Everything returns to normal. Cmd shows between 30-50ms to google, and netflix rebuffers. As soon as i restore the game, Google pings start timing out and netflix in the other room drops. Its like i lost a packet somewhere in spiral knights and my internet connection is being bombarded with packet attempts, completely DDOSing my entire network frantically trying to recover that single packet. And it never goes away, I can let the game sit there for 1 minute, 10 minutes, an hour, and my network meter on the top right stays red, Google.com Ping times out or says 3500+ ms, and my wifi tv in the other room just sits there, or disconnects completely from Netflix. I tested by connecting my cellphone to my wifi and i opened a skype call to a friend, when spiral knights starts lagging, my entire network is affected, the call drops on skype. It isn't a problem with my computer because it affects my entire network. I've tried a different router. I even used my cellphone tether and in all instances the outcome is the same, At some point spiral knights affects my network and completely DDOSes me. But as soon as i alt+tab, everything returns to normal, as soon as i restore, my internet connection for the whole house is brought to a standstill. What the hell is going on? I've reinstalled Java, completely removing it and installing both 32 and 64 bit separatly and neither solve it. I've reinstalled SK as well. The problem is constant, it make take a minute to hit me, but as soon as it hits, it stays there until i log off and re log into spiral knights, Even standing in haven completely still, it will show up.
