I got disconnected while fighting JK today..FOR THE SIXTH TIME. I'd like my free sealed sword now please :)
Constantly disconnecting while fighting JK
Weird. I've never had an issue on Jelly King, aside from randoms being terrible at bosses.

Here's a screenshot showing some of the funk. Notice Royal Jelly is behind the gate XD;;

I dunno what the normal signs of disconnection are, but here my teammates constantly flash, all of the enemies stop, I can move around and attack and all but can't interact with anything. Sometimes it stays like this for 10 minutes, other times I'm disconnected shortly after. That's roughly 30 jelly gems and such I've missed out on due to this :T
Please note this ONLY happens when fighting royal jelly, so I've got to say it's some sort of bug.
Your connection is dropping due to the high number of enemies suddenly spawning and becoming active; too many signals are bouncing to and from the server for your ping to handle it, causing your signal to desynch and, ultimately, drop completely.
It's an issue with your connection; some weaker connections, aswell as shared connections(via LAN, wireless, etc.) run into this problem. I'd suggest tinkering with your network settings if you're on a network, or just getting faster internet if that is a possibility.
Makes sense, but I can play Starcraft II with FAR more units and not even get lag, let alone get disconnected...So I find it funny that 50 little jellies can accomplish this.
Your upload is most likely being spammed:
11 times now. This is incredibly frustrating. I've already lost 110 CE + profit from selling items bought with jelly gems + heat & crowns.

What settings, exactly? From what I've read about this it's entirely out of my hands.
I've played other MMOs and strategy games that have a lot more going on at one time than SK and I've never had any problems, so I doubt it's my connection.

The thing about this is that every game handles things like this differently. SK has a rather blatantly crude and inefficient way of handling connection, mob spawns, ping drops, etc. It can be both your connection and the game's fault, and likely is.
As for network settings, making sure that you're not getting bottlenecked by other computers on the network(by limiting their access priveledges, limiting upload, etc.), making sure everything's set up right, etc. Honestly it's difficult to give ideas of what to look for with such a general problem.
