Well I'm planning to beat the Rabid Snarbolax in a few days (after finally gathering the money and resources to craft a snarbolax set), but I just want to check if my gear is alright for the boss.

Helmet: Skolver cap (to protect from beasts, I would bring shadow defense but don't have any shadow defense armour)

Armour: Skolver coat (same reason as skolver cap)

Shield: Exalted Honour Guard (I know it's really weak and all that but my only other shields are Grey Owlite Shield and Swifstrike Buckler, both of which I'm not sure are appropriate for the boss)

Trinkets: 2x Tetra-heart pendant (for extra health) I also have two four-star 'shadow resistance' trinkets (the ones from the token vendor), not sure if it would be better than heart pendants.

Weapons: Final Flourish (To deal with Beasts & Silkwings, also does well against undead), Divine Avenger (To deal with Undead, wide range and knock-back), Wild Hunting Blade (Neutral against all enemies, Beasts, high DPS on the Rabid Snarbolax and Swarm Seeds), Argent Peacemaker (Undead turrets, just kiting around and shooting with when I'm in trouble).

Well, that's it. Please give suggestions/criticism on my gear set. Also, I don't have any super uvs on any of my gear except for asi low on my AP and beast low on my WHB.

Interesting choice. Lets you keep neutral on everything and max off on beasts without requiring BTS/Trinkies.

Anyhoo, the build seems solid enough. You might find more use from a shadow shield, however, as most of the damage you get hit with comes from howlers and zombies (I find) while beasts really aren't that threatening. I wouldn't say that shadow trinkies would be worth it; w/o a shadow set anyways the trinkies on their own won't count for anything meaningful.

Yeah, the WHB is my favourite

Yeah, the WHB is my favourite sword and I've realised that it will probably be useful in UGWW, which I'm seriously happy about it considering that it's (sadly) almost useless elsewhere. Also, thanks for the feedback!

I second Brady on the shadow

I second Brady on the shadow shield, Dread Skelly Shield is especially good.

I'd replace WHB for a support bomb (VT/Shiver) but that's not mandatory, especially if you like it (I love it too btw).

For the rest, offensive trinkets are better than heart one for PvE if you have some, but don't get any shadow resistance trinket. Very few defensive are worth it in PvE, Hearts are the best you can get.

exactly

Like the others, I'd advise a shadow shield. You could also wear BTS (you're going to get it someday, right?). But really I'd advise you to wear one piece of shadow armor. The shadow-dealing monsters are a much bigger threat than the piercing-dealing monsters. I agree about replacing defensive trinkets with offensive ones.

Against the undead, are you going to use your DA or your WHB? Your DA. Against the beasts, are you going to use your FF or your WHB? If you have no damage bonuses, it's a toss-up as far as DPS goes, but FF's first swing is wider, so I'd go with that. I just don't see WHB being very useful.

Someone in your party should have a crowd-control bomb such as Shivermist or Voltaic. I agree with Fradow that you should replace WHB with that. But you love WHB, and love is worth something. :)
