Lately, along with extreme lag, the game has been logging me off randomly. What I mean by that is I could just be chilling in my guild hall, talking to friends, when all of a sudden the screen freezes, and 2 seconds later I'm on the title screen. I hit Logon, and where am I? The character select screen!
That's right, the game has become so laggy now that not only am I unable to do runs anymore, I can't even chat with friends and guildies in Haven or guild halls. The servers are so picky it's unbelievable. Only way to be able to play this game these days is to either have a very large amount of bandwidth, or live less than 100 miles from the servers. Otherwise it's good luck keeping logged on for more than 30 seconds.
/end yet another rant about lag that wont go away despite having done a million things to try fixing it but nothing works because OOO's servers simply can't handle any connection that isn't extremely fast and/or is more than 100 miles from the server's location.
I too have had this problem for sometime. I'm still having it in a matter of fact. Its happened with me on my vanaduke runs so more than usual. very frustrating.
