I think it would be better if each floor got locked down instead of you losing the whole lot all in one go. Then you could buy each floor back one by one meaning you wouldn't need to come up with the full amount in one go. Once you have bought one floor back the upkeep timer would start again for the cost of that floor. You would buy the floors back with their normal room expansion icons turning up in the shop. This also means that you could buy all the floors for the furniture and then only use what you have furnished up to that point after the upkeep locks everything down. When you have completed furnishing the latest floor you have been working on you could re-buy the next one and so on and so forth. It would make guild halls more accessible to all players and would still be a constant crowns sink. I also think options to remove normal floors after buying them might be nice too. Also I think the documentation needs updating to go into upkeep more thoroughly as I didn't really know what to expect.
Improved/Expanded Upkeep System
But I had maxed out my guild slots and wanted more. I run a newbie friendly guild and most of them can't put into the guild all the time, its just a shame because I like helpping new players and I just wish we could have a nice guild hall for them too is all. I'm just saying more options would be nice.
Nice guild-halls are a luxury you dont need to enjoy the game.
In contrast, it's a crown sink that keeps energy prices low, thus helping your newbies.
At the very least I think guild hall documentation needs fleshing out and you should be able to remove floors from the guild hall while in default mode to reduce your debt...

Alternatively, you could just avoid purchasing rooms you can't afford upkeep for.
Being a noob-friendly guild really doesn't change that key factor...

You realise that's technically scamming, right? You paid for the room, but then when upkeep time came you want to just get rid of it and expect the payment to go away? That'd be like me renting a flat, but then destroying it a month later and just saying to my landlord "oh, it's gone now so I won't pay, thanks~"
Not really Brady, then they have to pay the Installation fee all over again.
But they might not buy it at all. It's still not kosher to get away with paying for something just by...getting rid of it before anyone notices.
Not to mention that it's a pretty dirty way to get yourself out of default. You land yourself in that much debt, it really was your own fault; need to clean up your own mistakes.
i think being able to remove floor that hass been aded in the past should be implemented. because theres already a rule that some specific floors will be locked like guild training hall if a certain amount of floors is not open. so i think removing floors, then haing to pay all over for it again should be included as an option.
