So there has been an unofficial petition going on to get any SEGA characters that haven't gotten in yet, into the game as future DLC. S0L, one of the game's developers has endorsed the idea and ever since, these petitions have spread like crazy. I've decided myself to get some support for spiral knights over here since he's been added to the list not too long ago.

I think they would go with a fixed design and design a vehicle behind like all the other characters. Take in mind, you can transform in this game so that makes 3 vehicles (land, air and sea)

Don't underestimate this community. It may be larger than the ones who are allready up there. The message just needs to be heard. Also the petition for spiral knights has JUST been added, so.

The one running the petition
The one running the petition acknowledged that it was a long shot due to being a late entry, but he considered the game's community might be large enough to support it and, despite wanting to adhere to the list as compact as possible, made an exception for Spiral Knight to show up after some people requested him. We should be thankful for that.

Miku and/or a Spiral Knight DLC would actually make me buy it on the spot (I don't like racing games that much but for god sake's, Miku and Spiral Knights). I wonder if OOO is going to help in making this petition well known, after all, All-Stars is a sweet, well-known game that would boost Spiral's popularity to the roof.

Yes.
This should really be publicized in game as well, so the non-forumers have a chance to vote. Spiral Knights has a very distinct style, and is quite loveable overall. People seeing the knights in game would definitely be wondering where they were from, and would want to check it out. It would be free, excellent advertising for this game.
Also, everyone should post this for their Guild Halls' message of the day. It's a good way to raise support if OOO doesn't publicize it at all.

I think there was an issue with Sega trying to shout out to people for copyright infringements with Miku since she appeared in one of their games, but that's completely rediculous. Sega can't use Yamaha's stuff without paying them lotsa royalties :/

Just as a reminder, this is not for fun or a throwaway petition. It is supported by the producer himself so if you want to see a spiral knight in Sonic racing Transformed, spread the word.
The vote count now is 57. Which is very few compared to the one with the most count... which is Hatsune Miku at the moment.
I believe this community is great though, so I am expecting a lot more!

I think you are really underestimating the brilliance of this game. Sonic All-Star racing Transformed has gotten a respectable perception so far, but as an owner of the game, I feel bad for anyone who is missing out on it. The game is 30€/40 dollars, a steal. This is of course me speaking from my own great experience, but I would bet anything and say nobody would regret getting this game.
The votes so far for spiral knight is 90. Still increasing so that's a good sign!

Yeah this poll is serious business. It started as a challenge from the game's producer. He said whichever character passes the 1k he would consider bringing it forward to SEGA as a suggestion.
Now that the polls have surpassed the 2k, that possibility has only become more likely. So the more voters we have guys, the more chance we'll have for DLC of our choice!
