if i play the game, most enemy/knight/npc textures will (knights are black textured with only the helm showing, and monsters are the same, although the effects show up.)

I'm having a similar problem, most textures aren't showing up
This is on Linux, I couldn't find instructions for uninstalling so I just deleted the .getdown/spiral folder but it hasn't helped. It was working fine yesterday, and does work on my laptop which is a similar setup. Is there something else I should be doing to reinstall properly?
