Still waiting for a response from devs in a submitted ticket.

Please let me know if you share in any of the following:
Unable to see Guild Hall furnishings.
Unable to see "Honor" equipes i.e honor blade etc.
Unable to load in arcade. Crash usually occurs @ 75% - 92% loaded
Random lag like issues such as player teleporting or enemy rubberbanding, as well as being sucked into enemy attacks or spikes.
Unplayable lag in blast network.
Problems in "Garrison" area such as surfaces showing up gray rather then rendering.
Random Crashes. Often after standing on a party button, crafting, or zoning to a new town area.
Unable to hear in game music or sound effects.

My main Knight is Mermzilla. I play via Steam.
here are some speedtest.net results of what my average internet speed is. Sometimes not as good, but those times are obvious and i don;t even try SK then.

@IrthanI have indeed

@Irthan
I have indeed uninstalled and re-installed both SK and steam multiple times, both using the uninstall client and deleting all local files manually.

@Sdkfzafk
Just tried Compatibility Mode for the first time and then rebooted. All issues remain. Forgot about that mode though. I appreciate the suggestion

As a side note, I can solo and run fairly well, though I am still susceptible to random crashes. I just can't run with people. (which is kind of a bummer for an mmo)

The answer is you need to

The answer is you need to stop expecting the game to run on your cheap netbook and buy a decently powerful laptop if you want to play this game.

System Requirements: Graphics: 64mb Video Memory. GeForce 5 series, ATI Radeon 8500. Latest video driver.
Your PC: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with 128MB-1342MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory.

The system requirements call for the features in a 8500 or GeForce 5. Your graphics card is a mobile on-board chipset that is basically capable of playing DVDs, surfing the web, and the simplest of 3d games (not SK). It just can't handle the game. Graphics missing is a common symptom of the game trying to use features that your graphics card doesn't support.

OOO is not going to re-write the game just because you can't meet the minimum requirements.

Sorry.

I've also had some of these problems

Most notably the lag issues. And I'm fairly certain it is not internet connection or my computer as these problems also occur with my friends. From what I've been able to pull together by testing spiral knights on many different computers and internet connections is that part of the problem is on our end, with worse computers having worse lag and bad internet causing bad lag, but some of it has been common among all computers and internet connections.

The common causes of lag are, enemy spawning, knockback effects, and enemy attacks.

For enemy spawning the game will typically freeze for a second or less when enemies spawn in. Character will continue to do what they were being to do at the moment of lag. So if I was moving forward shielding during enemy spawn I will keep moving forward shielding while the game is froozen regardless of what input I'm giving. This generally isn't a problem and common in games since the amount of things being rendered and processed suddenly spikes.

When enemies or a player gets knockbacked there is sometimes a brief period of lag between the attack which caused the knockback and when the enemy or player ends up where they got knockbacked too. Again this isn't too bad of a problem just a bit confusing during battle since it will cause things to teleport around and freeze the game up briefly.

However this last one is extremely annoying and has lead to many many deaths. When an enemy attacks the game will sometimes lag. This means that the enemy basically gets a free hit on a player as shielding is impossible as is dodging. It often occurs at the start of the attack animation and the lag stops a bit before the end of the attack animation. Though sometimes it will completely skip the attack animation and I will literally take damage from an attack I could not see.

I also play via steam. Perhaps these problems are related to that?
