Which of the following projectiles are dodgeable in t2, and which in t3? what about outrunnable? can i do it with a mercurial set?
-Rocket puppy rocket.
-Howlitzer head.
I know the above change, but do normal monster bullets have a change of speed in the different tiers?

How does flinching work? is it on the last strike of a combo (troika line 2nd hit, for example), does it have anything to do with damage, stratum, and does it work after the monster's attack animation has started?

can you shield a hit even if you lift it after the monsters attack animation has started?
also, i have seen a ''residual shield'' appear after ive dropped my shield and i'm hit before a second passes. its defensive bubble pops up only around my feet, blocks or breaks, and then just dissapears. is that normal or am i high?

-You cant outrun missiles in a straight line (the map wont let you anyways) but you can esily dodge them.

-Flinching varies a lot from enemy, equipment, tier, etc. You'll have to try yourself. Heavy swords are consistent with this, but a cutter has weird results.

-Small lag causes such incosistencies.

#1 Rocket puppy Rockets ---

#1 Rocket puppy Rockets --- you can outrun missiles in T2; in T3, you can only outsmart or shield from it

#2 Howlitzers -- T2 howlitz sprays 3 bullets, which can be dodged between or beside them; T3 howlitz spray 5 bullets from left to right, can be dodged between or beside, shielding also works at long range

#3 There is no difference in attack speed for monsters

#4 Flinching just pushes your charge time back, or when you are fully charged, it won't have any effect except loss of health. You flinch when you get hit during a charge, or attack, by any form of attack (such as getting whacked by an enemy or from floor spikes)

#5 That depends, if you have lag, i suggest shielding before the monsters started to hit you (anticipation), but it will not work after

#6 From your description, I can understand it's called shield bash, http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Shieldbearer_Guide
Read the section about shield bumping
Shield bumping has an animation of some sort, that sorts of pushes outwards. If it delays in time, you might be having lag.

Howlitzers

After you've killed a howitzer be careful u dont get hit by it's exploding head. Generally without asi's in a heavy sword line (ie DA) if u kill it with the first hit and continue with the combo it will explode before u can shield. Be sure not to 'combo spam' them and its safer to just gun them down from a safe distance

With the Howitzers, I love killing them at range and then swapping to an AP. Wait a fraction of a second, and then nail the Howitzer head with a few shots. as long as you are not strafing, the head will go straight towards you and it wont be that hard to hit (Especially if you have AA on).

I'm betting flinching (of enemies, I assume people mean) is based on damage, because I can interrupt certain gremlins at depth 20, yet the same type of gremlin will not flinch at depth 28, even with the same 5* weapon...

Flinching I think is part of the weapon actually, not just damage. Damage is a factor, but weapons like the Magnus and Blaster lines can flinch enemies with relatively little damage.
