I'm a beta tester though i barely did anything. I was wondering, how many people have even heard of spiral knights besides us? i want good solo play, but without it popularized, its kinda lonely. how many people heere actually play a good amount of time.

I hardly count as a beta

I hardly count as a beta tester (joined two days before beta ended). I play regularly and have introduced several other people to the game who play regularly.

I think the best indication we have for the population size is the number of haven instances, and how full they get. I haven't been playing close attention, but it seems to me as though the population's gone up quite a bit since the start.

Anyone know how many people each haven instance must have before it gets three red circles in the list?

Well theres definitely a lot

Well theres definitely a lot of people playing at the moment all though a lot of us have already consumed the current content and have stopped being active as we once where.

That being said there seems to be a lot more people on than in release.

News for this game also

News for this game also appeared in Kokatu and Ars Technica (twice!). The Yahoo article was linked in the usual news sites like Fark, Digg and Reddit. News about this game was also around the Y!PP forums a bit. Not to mention a hat tip on Penny Arcade too.

I've been at least logged in nearly every day now since late October, crazy eh?

I joined a few weeks ago,

I joined a few weeks ago, been on daily, or at least every-other-day.
I have a guild of personal friends and we all do runs together, usually in the evening. there's about 4-6 of us now.
