And so it begins:
I was bored of doing LD and Vanaduke and Jellyking
And i thought of doing Blast network to bring back my childhood of Bomberman
And there came some Noobs who were 1 star - 2 star
And i thought "Ha, These people are just noobs, It's gonna be so easy >:)"
And Here was the Rankings (It was FFA)
1. MrJelly 23 Points
2. (Random 2star guy) 15 points
3. (Random 1 star guy) 11 points
4 Me 9 Points??
I couldn't believe it...
So what i'm asking Is some Tips for Blast network.
Will someone Help me?

-Learn to dodge.
-Always be aware of where your bombs are, where your team-mates bombs are, and where the enemies bombs are.
-Always be aware of where you are, your team-mates are, and the enemies are.
-Don't rush to the 'one-ups' rashly. Only go for them if you know 100% that it won't hurt you.

Basically, pay VERY close attention to your surroundings, and you'll start to get points in the 30's.

-When an explosion hits a bomb, it instantly detonates. Take advantage of this to chain bombs and create larger, longer explosions. You can use this to hit someone behind a block if you put two bombs. The first bomb will destroy the block while the second one will travel right through.
-Survival is more important than kills. Don't act recklessly.
-Don't lag. Lagging kills you.

-Don't judge a player by their gear. Some of them may surprise you, even in the Clockworks.

YESSSSS an opportunity for me to contribute to the community!!!

As some have already mentioned, survival is most important. Here are some excerpts from Pyneapll's BN Field Notes:

  • Stay near the bottom of maps. Because of the camera angle, this is the general strategy for staying safe. Being able to see the entire map or at least more of it will help you avoid incoming off-screen blasts.
  • Don't be predictable. Refrain from placing bombs in a straight line repeatedly. Your opponents may notice this pattern and trap you from the front.
  • Don't be greedy. Do not run recklessly into a dead end or tight spot to retrieve a power-up while opponents are nearby. They will quickly trap you by blocking your only way out.

And for a few tips on offense:

  • Use the camera angle to your advantage (long range recommended/required). Turn the defense tip around: Place bombs in areas your opponents are less likely to see so you can hit them with off-screen blasts. (Try it at the bottom of maps)
  • Chain together delayed/surprise bombs. Place multiple bombs in a line, but far enough apart from each other so that your opponents think you had only placed your first bomb. They may dodge the first blast and come out of cover, only to be hit by your off-screen following blasts. (Try it in the long vertical/horizontal hallways of Crystals I & II)
  • Get those Blast Ups! Longer range is almost always useful. Who knows; a stray blast might catch an unwary opponent.

Additionally: Whatever happens, don't get discouraged. Like most skill-based endeavors, being good at Blast Network takes practice. Every loss is a learning opportunity!

This is only a very small portion of my Field Notes, but it should be enough to get you started on the path to victory. If you find a passion for BN and/or want some more tips, strategies, and notes on BN etiquette, feel free to send me a mail in-game, or consult your nearest Machinist guild member.

Happy blasting!

Heres a nice tip

This game is very similar to bomberman, except for a few glaring technicalities.

One of them is:

You cannot occupy the same space as an opponents bomb, but you can do so for your bomb.

that means, if you set a bomb on a corridor with a single corner exposed, and someone follows you into the same corner you are hiding in to avoid your own blast, you can drop another bomb to -force- them out into the blast, then escape before that bomb detonates with your kill.
