I just rejoined spiral knights, and now that I'm doing t2 lockdown wanted to know who the best players are. I've ran into a few good players but I know there are probably more out there that I haven't fought yet. Can't wait to see the list of t2 pros :D

I used to be relatively good
I used to be almost up to skybrandon's level, (was his friend) but then I was hacked... Reminds me, I shud friend him! I was capable of dealing around 15k damage each tier 2, assuming other players actually came out of their camps... It was kind of unfair, cuz back then there was no hammers, and I had: wolver cap pierce max normal max, and wolver coat with same uvs, along with twisted snarble barb ASI VH (got in first roll, super lucky :3), and stable rocket hammer ASI high (didn't bothe rolling for better one), and kilo pulsar ASI VH... Twisted targe (dont think stats from shield affect, but oh well) Was very unfair indeed :3... Then I was hacked, and I rage quit for almost a year, and now I'm BACK!!!

But on a more serious note if you see Anyone from these guilds (in T2):

Aequitas
You can bet that they know what they are doing. Also if you see anyone who is recognized while in the waiting room it's generally a good idea to assume they don't suck.
Finally anyone with all 3* equipment usually isn't horrible.

Shout out to Verde-Ember here. He's pretty darn good. I know he's beaten up Stane quite a few times (witnessed a 1v1 match earlier tonight). Gods-Corpse is a big damage dealer, but usually low on captures. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I think you guys got most of the rest of them

Typical guys to look for
Soon as you see the words "[insert player's name] is a noob {insert weapon} spammer." Generally that means they get things done because nobody has the time to really complain about it until they're waiting on a certain timer to let them back in the game, that is, unless you get on those so thoroughly sandbagged teams that you can just hang back, recon a bit, and earn a free 2 krogmos.
Oh, and if they kill you, you probably should look for them. /endsarcasm
In order of actual watching out required.
Striker wielding non-normal toothpick (see also flamberge or stun stick) that also has a btb/normal toothpick in arsenal (takes time to figure out)
Hammers (period... I don't care if they're using guardian, you need to spend some time with em)

Actual Skill/ people recognized by other members of community

If you want....
I could say that I'm somewhat decent. I don't have superior equipment, but I enjoy a match every now and then. I'm no striker. I'm an assassin recon, a trapper, and a distraction. I can keep my ground longer then your average striker, so I can keep half their team busy while the rest cap.
But I also believe that one isn't good judge for oneself, because one will always over or underrate him/herself.

I would say my opinions on some people's suggestions but it might get me in trouble, so I won't. I will just say that summus is good, and he only uses half dusker. I don't know if the Wolver coat has pierce defense max on it, but hey.
