Has anyone else lost a Sleep UV when upgrading gear? I submitted a bug report on this but thought I'd post also for everyone.

I've crafted hundreds (maybe even 1000) items in the game, so I am not a newbie, I know how to transfer UVs, and I have never lost a UV that I wanted to keep. Well, here's what happened: I decided to upgrade my old (very old) Magic Cloak with Sleep UV Medium to an Elemental Cloak, I did NOT uncheck the "transfer UV", so I expected to keep my Sleep UV but no, it was gone upon being recrafted. I think that since Sleep UV cannot be crafted anymore it also cannot be "recrafted" anymore either by transferring UV. I cannot think of any other explanation for me losing my UV.

Does it make a difference?

Considering that there are currently no enemies in the game, no traps, and no weapons capable of inflicting sleep status (with the obvious except of vials), does it really make a difference if the UV transferred or not?

If anything, I'd be happy I lost a sleep UV.

You don't know whayou're talkin about. It's a collectionable, unobtainable, super rare item now. People would pay lots of money for it.....

I highly doubt anyone would spend a large amount of cash to buy a weapon with an unusable UV, unless they literally had nothing else they could spend their cash on. As rare and unobtainable as it may be, it's a completely worthless UV that serves no purpose besides hogging one of the 3 possible UV slots. Unlike accessories, there is no visual difference between something with a sleep UV and one without a sleep UV.

The only reason anyone would buy armor with a sleep UV is so they could brag to people by saying things like "Hey guys, inspect me and check out my super-rare sleep UV!". Even then, the UV is very unimpressive.

I'd rather buy armor with low normal defense increase than one with a maximum sleep UV. I mean, I already feel kinda' cheated because my plate mail has sleep status resistance, because it's worthless and would be better if it was resisting a status that actually exists.

Just tested this with one of

Just tested this with one of the lows I have that I don't really care about; Before and after. Most likely, you unchecked the box by accident or something.

Also, @Laraso I would spend large amounts of money on Sleep UVs; I have already spent tens of thousands of CE on them. I will gladly take Sleep UVs off of yours or anyone else's hands for a decent price, depending on the level and if I actually want it or not.

You can't be serious... right?

What do you do with them? Just sit and stare at them in your arsenal?

@Laraso:

Yeah... You do realize that plate mail is anti-resistant against sleep. Links to prove it: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Equipment-Heavy_Plate_Mail_Stats.png , http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Equipment-Ironmight_Plate_Mail_Stats.png , http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Equipment-Boosted_Plate_Mail_Stats.png , http://wiki.spiralknights.com/File:Equipment-Volcanic_Plate_Mail_Stats.png.
You may want to recheck that plate mail of yours...

It was my mistake; I meant sleep status weakness.

I knew everything you just said though...
